Pick-up and drop off door to door service. Transfer from Sorrento to Pompei and from Pompei to Sorrento by new and confortable minibus, tickets in Pompei (euro 16,00 per person included), professional guide in English, French, Spanish or Italian inside the ruins, who will show you in a 2 hours walking tour the most fascinating places like the Forum, Thermal Baths, Lupanare burnt by volcanic ashes and lapilli during the eruption in 79 A.D. You have the opportunity to discover the everyday life of the Imperial age and imagine the panic of the people before the city was so disastrously buried. Departure from Pompei at around 13:30 and return around 14:00-14:30 (depending on traffic conditions you can return at 15:00); drop off where we picked you up in the morning. It's a trip not to be missed for any visitor coming into this region of Italy.

Efficient and so easy with pick up in an air conditioned vehicle. If you want a shorter tour that gives you the main highlight - this is perfect

This is a well organized, professional and highly competent company. Their communication with me was outstanding as they caught a significant error in my booking and adjusted schedule at the last minute due to cruise ship schedule changes. The tour itself including tour guide, coordinator and driver were also outstanding. Overall we had a great tour and felt full confidence in the company and staff.
It was great but a bit hard to understand the guide at first. She got better as the day went on. We learned a lot. Drop off and pickup were just as stated.

So interesting, I was surprised at the sophistication of the Romans. The service to and from was very easy.
Pickup was very organized, we got picked up steps off the port, they sent me a photo of where to meet and the driver texted me detailed instructions. Ride there and back was very nice, the van and bus were clean and new, our tour of Pompeii was amazing our guide was very knowledgeable and funny. The Port pickup was the most important aspect for our group, this tour was very cost effective as it included the actual tickets to get into Pompeii AND and hour+ ride there. We had a smaller van there from the port and picked up a few more people on the way, we had a larger bus on the way back which made 3 stops on the way back dropping off people at hotels on the way back to the port in Sorrento.

Booked this tour last minute and so glad we did. I am not sure the tour operators name (maybe Elise?) but she was fantastic. Great job leading our entire group and making the tour educational and even managing some humor. It was very interesting. For me, the 4 hours was enough. If you are more into history you may want more time. The ear piece are ok- just try to stand close to the operator to have less static.
The collection from Sorrento was good. On arrival we were passed through probably 6 representatives in a matter of seconds which was confusing. Our guide, Paolo, inside Pompeii was great. He took us to the exit and to the place where the viator representatives were. Once there we found we had to wait 30 minutes to share a bus with another group before returning to Sorrento. There were no seats so we sat on the pavement and waited. Most uncomfortable. Had we known this we would have asked for the 30 minutes as free time to explore Pompeii on our own as there was much more to see than time permitted. That was extremely disappointing. The drive back eventually happened, traffic was bad which was no one’s fault but the day ended up being longer than expected and with not enough time for the ruins to be explored.
