Every traveler in Bulgaria wants to visit the most interesting places and take away the most vivid impressions. Your collection of memories will be complete if you visit the sights of Plovdiv, the capital of culture, in the company of an audio guide. You will explore the old town of Plovdiv on your own at your own pace, with the help of an audio guide and a map of the excursion route. Approaching the desired object, you dial its number and start playback. After paying for the tour, a link with access to audio files will be sent to your email. On the day of the excursion you have chosen, the link will become active and will be valid for 24 hours. You will listen to audio recordings through your phone. You will need internet and headphones to listen to recordings in temples. Attention: internet consumption is minimal!

Route point 1 - Jumaya Mosque is a medieval Muslim temple in Plovdiv. According to various authors, it was built under Sultan Murad I (1362 – 1389) or under Sultan Murad II (1421 – 1451)
The Stadium of Philippopolis was the ancient Roman stadium of Philippopolis (modern Plovdiv), built in the 2nd century AD, during the Roman imperial period.
A small church existed on the site as early as the 9th century. The church was renovated in 1186 by the bishop of Plovdiv Constantine Pantehi and it became part of a monastery. Both the church and the monastery were destroyed when the Ottoman Turks conquered the city in 1371 in the course of the Bulgarian-Ottoman Wars
Lamartine House - It was built by some unknown master-builder in 1829- 1830 and is one of the biggest and most beautiful symmetrical houses in the Old City.

The Roman theatre of Philippopolis is one of the world's best-preserved ancient Roman theatres, located in the city center of modern Plovdiv, once the ancient city of Philippopolis
Plovdiv Regional Ethnographic museum is the second largest specialized museum of this type in Bulgaria.
Nebet Tepe is one of the hills of Plovdiv where the ancient town was founded. The earliest settlements on Nebet Tepe are dated back to 4000 BC
Hisar Kapia (from Turkish: Hisar Kapı meaning "Castle Gate") is a medieval gate in Plovdiv's old town and one of the most famous tourist sights in the city.
Small Basilica Archeological Site (5th-6th century)
Cultural Center-Museum TrakArt is a history museum in Plovdiv. It features 160 square metres “in situ” ancient Roman mosaic from the 3rd - 4th century, an exhibition called 'Glass in ancient art' that illustrates the development of glass manufacturing from the 5th century BC till the 4th century AD, an exhibition called 'Protothracian portrait' with ceramic objects from the eneolith and the neolith- Cultura Maritsa and an exhibition with Roman miniature portraits from the first century BC up to the first century AD
The Church of St Constantine and Helena is a church in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It is considered to be among the oldest churches in the city. It was built in 337 at the sight of an ancient pagan temple in the acropolis on one of the fortified hills.

Comprehensive tour of the Old Town. Only problem was having to switch between the map and the audio. A printed map (clearly easier to read in the sun) would have helped. The pdf map on the phone was unclear when I zoomed in - could the resolution be increased?
