Our accredited guide will meet you at the entrance 2 of the park and will accompany you to visit the most beautiful and most visited National Park in Croatia, is like Europe’s very own Eden, located in a carst area of the Lika county where in the last 10000 years, 16 very clear azure blue lakes were made. The water comes from a lot of small springs and streams and make up sixteen staggeringly beautiful lakes which spill into each others through a network of cascading waterfalls over limestone dams, surrounded by miles and miles of beautiful forested landscape. Most of the tour is walking easily along the shady paths and wooded bridges, boardwalks close by the water; combined by a 20mn with a panoramic train. This extraordinarily beautiful park becomes even more stunning now on lower season and offers spectacular views at its finest when is not yet so oppressive, means fewer crowds, shorter lines and better deals.

Was a great tour our guide Leo was great, how ever we found it to be a little too long and thought we should have finished after the first boat ride. The extra walking and time wasn’t worth it.
The guide was supposed to be one of the best in the area. But obviously he was not having a good day and throughout the entire trip, he showed very little interest in interacting and gave minimal explanation. It was almost like he disliked the people around and didn't want to be there. Understandably all people are human and have ups and downs. But we paid to have a guide who shall have the basic professional manner to let the people under your care feel cared. Spoiled our memory of the beautiful park.
What to say about this experience.... a big void ... paying so much to simply follow a guide who only thinks about going fast and who explains very little... it seems more interesting to keep your money and visit the park on your own, which is totally doable! Because be careful: in addition to paying for this experience you will have to pay 40 euros for park admission on top per person!! A vacation budget dented. And what can I say about Viator's customer service... other than saying that they can't do anything... Basically an experience to avoid!! And I never leave reviews, but here it seemed important to me to warn about this experience!

Plitvice is absolutely gorgeous. It is quite busy there and you are doing the tour with many people. If you want to have more freedom to stop and explore it would be good to go on your own or have a private tour. I liked that I didn’t have to map anything. The tour guide got us throughout the lower lakes and onto the boat ride. He was very knowledgeable. And we had breaks along the way.
Said secured tickets for park entry but the operator had not purchased in advance. We purchased on our own. We went for this option thinking the tickets for park entry were secured and they weren’t. We drove over three hours from Split to do the tour which would have been a waste of the tickets to the park had sold out for the day
It is something one should see, a beautiful walk from top to bottom. The color of the water is unique
Very pretty park. Worth doing with a guide as you learn more about the place. Sadly for us it threw it down with rain the whole time we were there but that still didn’t take anything away from the beauty of the place.
