Nice day out!!

Tour was good, however I paid extra for this tour over others the same as this tour said a maximum of 40. Would have been over 60 on the boat. Pigs were cute but the tour operator doesn’t permit shoes on the boat, so navigating the island was harsh on the feet. Lunch was good.

Operator response

Dear Jodie Hohenhaus, ⁨⁩ Thank you for your review and apologies for any disappointed experience caused on you! Regarding the maximum of travelers, normally the boats for the pink dolphin tour can carry for around 30 people, however in high season with a lot of bookings requirement, sometimes we may use the bigger boats' sizes but not for 60 people please. Regarding with no shoes on the boat, it is for the safety because we used to have the customers fell down from wearing the shoes, also sometimes when the water get high tide the shoes would be floated and lost easily during walking down from the boat to the island. However, if anyone prefer to bring the shoes to the island that would not be prohibited at all, please just inform the tour guide. Best regards, Jiggy

If seeing the dolphins could be 100 percent assured it would be great

Our tour guide did not introduce his crew. He didn't mention where the toilet was on the boat. We were not updated when they were trying to find the dolphins, just that they couldn't find them. That was a huge disappointment, but realise this is not under your control. It would have been nice to have been kept informed. The snorkeling was very murky, especially to other snorkeling trips we had done from Ko Samui. Pig Island was disappointing. Thank you for the lovely lunch

Operator response

Dear Linda, Thank you for your review and apologies for any disappointed experience caused on you! Regarding your feedback, we have already informed to our business partner to get improving on the tour guide issue to make sure they can serve the better service to our further customers. With the snorkeling, we totally agree that the visible undersea of Koh Tan can not really compare with Koh Tao, Koh Nang Yuan, and Angthong National Marine Park, however Koh Tan is suitable for the travelers who don't want to ride on the boat for a long time. At pig island, this issue we are not sure what the point to cause of your disappointed, but now there are quite a lot of people because of the high season. Best regards, Jiggy

Bad

I didn’t like the experience from the beginning traveling as a solo, the van came on time and guess what it was full so i had to sit next to the driver! I don’t find this acceptable i was not comfortable no leg room and he took my beach bag and put it at the back seat with other guests. That was the start. Then during the trip it was scorching hot and we wasted almost two hours just tryring to search for dolphins we saw 1 which was chased by many boats poor dolphins if i knew this will happen i wouldn’t have went. Then after almost throwing up from the nonsense of two hours, we went to snorkel and guess what, guests and guides were feeding fish with bread! I don’t know how do they allow this and why do they do it! This is terrible for marine life. Then we headed to pigs island which i found to be fine nothing special, they parked the speed boat in the middle of the sea! We had to walk and get half wet if you are short like me expect to get even wetter whereas other tour companies had a pier access. Overall i see this trip as a waste of time and i felt it was commercial.

Operator response

Dear Fatimah Nabil, Please accept our apologies for the experience we provide does not meet your expectation. Allow us to have a chance to reply your issues: - With the seat in the van, sometimes we may have to put the customer sit next to the driver if it is full and we have never had the problem before. However, we will ask the drivers to be more careful with customers' belongings. - Dolphin watching, the crews and tour guide try the best to find the dolphins for the good experience of customers and it takes time sometimes. - The boat stops at Pig Island, there is no pier on the island, so all the boats arrive there, customers have to jump into the water and walk to the island. Best regards, Jiggy
