Jenny was exceptional again she was my guide yesterday. It was a lovely group of 8 happy people who came from all corners of the earth. This tour brings you places hard to make on public transport. She was very informative 5 🌟
I don’t write reviews on internet because my English is laughable, and what’s on the interest stays forever. But this is such a great experience that I’m compelled to do so. The driver drove us to the famous town and explained to us the history and culture along the way. Louberon and Roussillon are beautiful places to explore. Gordes is just breathtaking, giving me that Minas Tirith vibe. We are free to roam around in each town. The tour guide Paul is the best, nicest Frenchmen I have ever met. He is so chill, not in a hurry at all even when we spent a little extra time in town. If you don’t rent a car, you must join this tour. Ten out of ten.
Great excursion!!! If you don’t have a car and want to visit the regions of Provence, Louberon and Roussillon, don’t hesitate... the cities visited were breathtaking. Our guide Paul was really friendly and very informative! It is perfectly expressed in English and French. As this excursion is little known to people, we were lucky enough to visit as if it were a private tour. ***The excursion started at 8:15 am and ended around 6:00 pm. It’s an intense day of walking and for those with limitations it may not be ideal for you. However, for those who can, it is REALLY worth it! I recommend this excursion. Nathalie du Québec
A great trip covering the best Luberon villages, each unique and different. Our guide Simon was excellent :entertaining and informative. We had ample time in each village with free time to explore.Definitely recommend!
This tour was fabulous! Nicholas was terrific and did a great job explaining so much history and details! Wonderful!
Jeanie (guide) was super! Very knowledgeable and super energetic and enthusiastic; she clearly loves what she is doing and wants her guests on the tour to experience as much as possible. She packed a lot into the tour - we saw many different villages and she provided lots of interesting information. I highly recommend the tour - although you should know that it makes for a long day (9+ hours)
Beautiful places and Eugenie was a really sweet guide! I went with my mother. We did not get tired and we just loved the beautiful views! Lovely day! Thank you!
Please read the review more than look at the 3-star review...because this might be the perfect trip for you depending on what you like/dislike. This turned out to be a VERY long day (10 hours from start to finish). The ten hours wasn't the issue, except most of it was spent in a crammed van with 8 total guests (6 + me/wife). Some of the stops were outstanding...but will be less impressive if you've already experienced wonderful French (or European) small towns. The charm is amazing. Given I've traveled all over Europe, the experience was not as significant for me as it might be for first-time visitors to small European towns. The stops were great, but the van experience was a 1 of 5 rating. The van was packed...it was an 8 passenger van and 100% of the seats were full. This means that at all times, we had at least one couple who was separated by rows. The configuration is 2-3-3 seating. The driver's speaker/microphone system did not work, so there wasn't an ability to hear anything he was saying from the driver's seat. Because we (my wife and I) were the only two who were not experiencing motion sickness...we ended up in the 3rd row for all 10 hours and missed 90% of what the driver was saying (and he didn't say much because the speaker/microphone system wasn't working). And to make matters worse, the first four passengers (us + another couple) were picked up in Marseille...then we stopped in another city to pick up 4 additional guests. This added 15-20 minutes at the start and the end of the trip as we had to drive to another city (not one on the list) to pick up and drop off other guests. Not a great experience at the end of a long day.
Very beautiful towns with diverse scenery. Fontaine-de-Vaucluse was the highlight of the day; I wish we got to spend more time there! The itinerary was a bit ambitious for the time allowed, though — we spent far more time commuting than actually in the towns. It's a bit annoying that we were picked up from Marseille, but then some other members of the tour were picked up Aix-en-Provence, so ~45 mins on each side of the day's itinerary was wasted commuting to pick up/drop off other passengers. Clem, our guide, was fantastic.
This was a really wonderful trip to see some of the small villages in Luberon. The villages we went to were beautiful and special in their own way. I appreciated our guide's explanations and that the group was small. I'm happy that I went on this tour and would recommend it.
