We had such a great time on this tour. We went up to big Buddha and our tour guide was so knowledgable. We really enjoyed going to the cashew nut plant and trying all the different flavors. All together we were gone around 5 hours and worth every minute. We also enjoyed the old city quarters and exploring around there.
We had such an amazing day with tour guide Daisy, she was honestly the highlight. Full of knowledge! We got to spend a good amount of time at each site and no additional fees! The tour was fun and would definitely recommend to anyone!
Our tour guide Maowin was fantastic, so friendly, gave good information and full of energy the whole day. Only criticism is that the tour tried to fit in a bit too much for the time so the time at a couple of stops was quite short. Would recommend.
The big Bhuda is closed because of a landslide. They told us on the morning. Took us to some honey place, why, must have some commission on sales. Monkey hill was good l, sightseeing hill good, old Phuket town good, but after that guide did a runner. Probably not worth it as there’s not a lot to see but they took me to places I’ll never go again. Make your own mind up
We chose the morning tour. We waited 1h30 for nothing because the tour did not take place. We were then offered the afternoon tour. First of all we did not visit the great Buddah because the site has been closed since August 2024, but the proposed route is still not up to date... In addition we had selected French in the languages offered but everything was done in English. And finally we spent much more time in traffic jams than on places to visit. And about that the visit to the 'honey farm' looked much more like a commercial demonstration than an educational visit...
It was a great trip i liked Karon viewpoint and Big Buddha statue. But unfortunately there was not open to get close to Big Buddha. The monkey's was also very funny to watch at the Buddha statue. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful 🙏🏼
Daisy was excellent. She made our tour great. Friendly, accommodating, high energy, interested and fun.
The tour was well organized and showed the highlights of the island. Daisy ( like the flower) was our tour guide and she was extremely nice and very knowledgeable ! Top notch ! The bus was nice and A C was cold and it even had charging ports for your phon. I would recommend this quick half day tour to see the sights and get a feeling for the island - highlights - big Buddha ( been closed for a while but still nice to see and there are monkeys out there ) - cashew factory ( very yummy ) - temples and at the end old town which was really nice and the longest stop
-The price is to high for the 3-4h it was -You can't access the big Buddha x 1 year -We didn't go to the Windmill Viewpoint -We didn't go to the cachew factory But the guide and driver were awesome, kind, answering questions, funny,...
You are not going to see the budda as advertised. Apparently there was a mud slide a YEAR ago that prevents you from getting to the budda. Rather then adjusting their trip/ad they wait till you are on the bus heading out to inform you. That was the #1 thing I wanted to see and take pictures of. The guide(nice kid) was doing two tours at same time, so he would rotate back and forth between buses. So when we would arrive at next stop, he would get us off bus and say what he should have said in route to that location before cutting us loose. The last thing that irritated me is it took them 4-5 times to check people’s tickets before we could get started and at one stop they went looking for people that were already on the bus. It was very disorganized.
