4:10 - 04:30: AM - Pick up The bus picks up passengers at the meeting point in Hue city. You will depart for Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. Travel time is about 4 hours, through beautiful routes and majestic natural scenery of the Central region.
08:30: AM - Arrive at Sovaba Travel Office in Dong Hoi, Quang Binh province. You rest and relax for about 10 minutes, drink water, and prepare for the journey to explore two famous caves. The vehicle will take you to Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, with a travel time of approximately one hour. Get ready to explore one of the world’s most renowned natural wonders.
09:30: AM - The car will take you to the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park area, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning limestone landscapes, caves, and rich biodiversity.
10:00: AM - Paradise Cave Exploration: Visitors begin their journey with a 1.6 km tram ride, followed by a short hike to the narrow entrance of Paradise Cave. Once inside, the cave reveals a vast, cool space with ceilings up to 60 meters high and widths of 120 meters. Wooden stairs guide you through this "Underground Royal Palace," showcasing magnificent stalactites and stalagmites illuminated by soft LED lights. The cave's natural wonders, including formations resembling flowers, trees, and waterfalls, leave visitors in awe. After two hours of exploration, the tour concludes with a return to the parking lot, leaving unforgettable memories.
12:30: PM - Lunch Break: After visiting Paradise Cave, you will be invited to a restaurant in the National Park area to have lunch with local specialties, in a peaceful and airy space.
01:30: PM - Journey to Phong Nha Cave: • After enjoying lunch, visitors continue their journey to Phong Nha Cave. Here, visitors board a dragon boat to begin a 30-minute cruise along the green river, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. • Sitting on the boat, visitors will feel the peace of the scenery, watching the riverside villages and majestic limestone mountains in the distance. The river leads to the entrance of Phong Nha Cave, where the magic of nature gradually reveals itself through the majestic and mysterious beauty of rows of stalactites and stalagmites. • Stepping inside, visitors will be overwhelmed by the shimmering beauty of the stalactite system illuminated under flashlight. Stone curtains, stalagmites, and stalactites shine like diamonds, creating unique shapes. The deeper you go, the more you will be amazed by the shoals, underground lakes and sparkling rocks, all creating a scene like a fairy tale world.
04:00: PM - Return to Dong Hoi: Guests board the vehicle to return to Dong Hoi City.
05:00: PM - Arrival in Dong Hoi: The vehicle will pick you up and continue the journey back to Hue. 08:00: PM - Arrival in Hue: You arrive in Hue, concluding the tour. The driver bids you farewell and looks forward to welcoming you on future journeys.

It was from early in the morning, but the transfer was on time and the tour was fulfilling! The tour guide Jessica explained it very well and the lunch was delicious. This tour is recommended when you go to the cave from Hue!

We had so much fun on this day-long trip! The caves were beautiful and the boat trip was very smooth. Jessica (Tra) was an amazing tour guide - she always had a positive attitude and tried to connect with every member of the group. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to go on this trip!
I joined the event alone because I could not speak English. Jessica, our tour guide, gave us a slow, easy-to-understand explanation, so aside from the difficult explanations about stalagmites and other things, we had no trouble with anything related to the event, such as when we met, what we were going to do, or what was prohibited. They cared about me throughout, so I was able to participate with peace of mind!
The full day tour of Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave from Hue begins with an early (4:15am) pickup in Hue , and a 3.5 - 4 hour drive to Dong Hoi, but you can catch up on sleep on the very comfy van ride (though you will miss seeing the beautiful countryside as the sun rises if you do fall asleep!). The two caves are spectacular, with amazing mineral formations. Water is provided, as is lunch between visits to the two caves. You can then catch up on any further rest you may need on the return drive home to your hotel in Hue. Shout out to our very animated and friendly guide Tra (or Jessica, being her english name), who was a fountain of knowledge of the caves, the history of the area and the people who live in it. You will also get a crash course in the most important Vietnamese words, as well as tips on the ways that food is different in northern, central, and southern Vietnam. Highly recommended!!

I had a great time yesterday July 2, 2026 touring the Paradise and Phong Nha cave with our amazing and very friendly tour guide Jessica/Tra. She talks english very well and a lot of information she shares with us during the tour. As solo traveller from the Philippines, booking in SOVABA is the best decision I made as I did not felt alone during the tour. The lunch also was very yummy and the transportation was door to door from hotel vice versa. I can recommend to everyone booking at Sovaba the staff will contact you every now then before the tour.
