Sadly we couldn’t hop on and off due to the bus being booked privately for the next four hours so couldn’t pickup. Makes a joke of the hop on hop off idea. After complaining and some negotiation we were told to come back at 4.30 for the sunset trip and cruise. The Mekong River cruise described as optional is actually at an additional charge. Not well explained. The one hour cruise lasted only 45 minutes and a free drink was not included. Hop on hop off is a great concept but a bit under developed and under resourced in this instance. Staff was lovely and the commentary okay.
Even though we’re Cambodians and have lived in Siem Reap for years, we often spend our weekends walking around the city. This tour gave us a fresh and unique way to experience Siem Reap. We felt safe and well looked after thanks to the excellent driving and friendly service from the Tiara team. The bus tour takes you around the city and along the moat of Angkor Wat, making the journey both relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re feeling stressed from work or studying, we highly recommend this tour to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Siem Reap. Cheers.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It means a lot to us to hear that, even as locals, you discovered a fresh and enjoyable way to experience Siem Reap. We’re delighted that our team made you feel safe and well looked after throughout the tour. Thank you for your kind recommendation—we hope to welcome you back again for another relaxing ride soon!

Well worth it! So easy to get around.
We appreciate your review more than you know—thanks!
The bus tour was interesting and it took in many of the main tourist sites in Phnom Penh. When I visit a new city I always try to take a hop-on hop-off bus to familiarise myself with the area. I took 3 rides altogether - 2 in the morning and 1 at sunset (see below). Fong was an engaging and humerous tour guide. He ensured everyone was included in the chat and his command of many languages was impressive. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would give a 5 star BUT on arrival the bus had not been cleaned from the night before and empty bottles and litter were left on the floor and seats, despite there being at least 3 members of staff in the office. The first route taken did not match the map so it was very confusing. When I asked about the afternoon tour time and pick up as I had planned to take this in order to visit some sights, I was informed that the buses were not running in the afternoon but I could take the sunset cruise free of charge. This was fine and it was a great tour but it was not how I’d planned my day. It would have been very useful if the tour guide had pointed out the actual pick up points along the route, otherwise tourists could waste time and energy looking for bus stops.
Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the tours, especially Fong’s engaging guidance, and that our team made you feel welcome. We sincerely apologize that the bus was not cleaned before your morning tour. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and we will address it with our team. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the route map, afternoon schedule, and the visibility of our pick-up points. Your suggestions are very helpful, and we will work to improve the experience and communication for future guests. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Phnom Penh.
We loved the diversity of the city from the top of the bus. Tuk tuks are great but doesn't give that same perspective. Our guide, Hour Chaifong, was enthusiastic, friendly courteous and it was a pleasure to chat with him
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so happy you enjoyed seeing the city from the top of the bus and experiencing a different perspective than a tuk tuk. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with Hour Chaifong. Thank you for your support, and we hope to welcome you again soon!
I really enjoyed the night tour atop the Angkor Big Bus. My guide was engaging and funny and seemed to speak several languages. The weather was great, which is just luck, but it helped. Check-in was easy and they gave a bottle of water which is always welcome. I only gave 4 stars for 2 reasons: They assign you a seat. I asked to move and was able to, though. And the other is the bus didn't try to slow at all, which may ha e been impossible, or the guide could give more advanced information so we weren't past the site before he was done speaking. Still a good time and fairly priced.
Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the night tour, found our guide engaging and entertaining, and appreciated the easy check-in and complimentary water. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding seat assignments and the pace of the bus. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll share it with our team as we continue to improve the experience. Thank you for your recommendation.
We had an exquisite experience thanks to the extensive explanation of our guide Font during our city tour of Phnom Penh. For dessert, a cruise on the Mekong after nightfall. Nice to see Phnom Penh from the water by night. Highly recommended. Thank you, Font.

We’re especially pleased that Font’s detailed explanations helped make your experience memorable. Thank you for your kind recommendation—we’ll be sure to share your compliments with Font. We chose the option of bus + cruise. Font, our guide on board was very professional. His clear explanations in perfect English. We had a great time, in the middle of debauchery so in heavy traffic that made this tour of the city very lively. The cruise allows you to appreciate the architecture in a different light.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the bus and cruise experience and that Font’s professionalism and clear English explanations made the tour even more enjoyable. It’s great that you experienced the lively atmosphere of Phnom Penh and appreciated the city’s architecture from a different perspective during the cruise. Thank you for your kind feedback, and we hope to welcome you again soon!
We also took this bus and sat down downstairs and after 1 hour drive we still had no comment heard explanation about beautiful buildings and stuff. So I spoke to the supervisor about this to this one sat next to the driver and he said sorry for explanation you have to sit outside upstairs. 😉😁😉😅 He couldn't say that at the start of the ride
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that the explanation during the ride wasn't clear and that this wasn't communicated well from the start. Your feedback is very valuable and helps us improve our service and communication, so future guests have a better experience. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
