Philae Temple and Aswan High-Dam Half-day tour

I really enjoyed my trip to the Aswan High Dam and Philae Temple. My driver, Mohammed, drove safely and was friendly and respectful. He spoke good English, which allowed him to share some information about the dam with me. The Aswan High dam was impressive and the Philae Temple was beautiful. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

I had a great experience on this tour ,The AC car was very clean and comfortable, which made the journey enjoyable. Our guide Moataz was very knowledgeable, shared interesting information throughout the trip, and also had a great sense of humor that kept the atmosphere fun and engaging. The tour stops were well planned and gave us enough time to enjoy each place. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended

Solo woman, did this tour and Mo was a good guide, who let me do the tour my own pace, I wanted quite a quick tour with no extras. Picked up on time and got me to the Dam and Philae quite early when it wasn’t too busy. The boat trip was quick and easy, no waiting. Took some good photos and some interesting facts about the temple and the dam

We went with Mohamed Mamdouh and driver for a half day tour - high dam was very impressive and worth the trip. An unexpected bonus was a trip to the top of the friendship monument for the very best views - wasn't part of tour so a few extra EGP 600 paid locally was worth it and recommended. Our visit to Philae Temple was a highlight - low season meant it was much quieter than normal but very hot. We had enough time to explore on our own too after some Egyptian history from Mohamed. Avoid the locally cafe - looks nice and cool but its a bit of a rip off place. Take your own. A side trip on the way back to a perfume factory - we got brief tour and left. No heavy sales tactics. Overall a good morning spent in Aswan which we'd recommend.

Very interesting visit with Ruby. Her explanations are very clear, she is available to answer questions and leaves time to take pictures. We started the tour of Philae Temple at 2pm and it was very nice because there were few people. We didn’t get a bottle of water.

The Philae temple is the place of birth of Horus. You can’t miss this trip in Aswan. Our guide Moataz was a joy to be with. The Aswan dam is a feat of modern engineering.

We found the tour interesting, especially the High Dam but enjoyed the contrast including Philae Temple. Our guide was knowledgeable and explained things carefully. The driver was safe and the vehicle was comfortable.

Moataz was an excellent tour guide with amazing knowledge and passion. His English was very good and he explained everything to us in an easily understandable way and included us in his explanations which was great fun. He has a strong passion for Egypt and its history, he provided many interesting facts along these lines. You will be very lucky if Moataz is your tour guide 😁

We were very lucky to have Moataz Salah as our guide today. He met us in the reception of our ship and gave us some great information during our journey. We found Moataz had great knowledge and delivered it in a very fun way that included ourselves in his demonstrations and explanations which was great. We fully recommend Moataz as a tour guide and we will be booking Moataz again when we return. What a great day!

Even though the guide did his job well, we all felt he could use some training in how to interact with the customers. It was difficult to understand his fast paced accent as well.
