very informative talk with sights to see where the talks took place and imagine the people talked about in-at those locations in history
Our guide Andrew was very knowledgeable on the history of the Revolutionary War and gave us insights as to what happened in and around Philadelphia and the colonies.
Nice trip. Very experienced guide. I thought we will get into Independance hall. We did not (my fault, I did not do enough research) Please read the trip description more carefully than i did.
Being American History buffs we would have enjoyed this tour regardless of who our guide was but Vince (Vinny Mack) made it super special. Informative, personable and FUNNY!
Our itinerary said we had tickets for entry into 6 different buildings and we went into one. Our guide was nice, but, not well informed. I really think i deserve a discount for the 4 tickets. First time I've been disappointed with your service
We're sorry your tour was not what you were expecting! We're not sure what itinerary you're referring to, though. The itinerary on our Viator page gives a long list of sites on the tour, but doesn't say anything about entry into any of them. We are sorry there was a misunderstanding and will continue to work to prevent such things from arising in the future. Thank you for your feedback.
Andrew gave us the walking tour and it was fantastic. His knowledge of the events and individuals is expansive and he has a great personality. He explains how things evolved and brings history alive.
Thank you so much for your feedback! We are glad you found your tour so rewarding and are grateful to you for sharing your experiences with others!
Our guide, Neal, was very passionate and heartfelt about his tour. We could tell that he loves what he does, loves his town, and loves to share it with others who will listen.
Awesome walking tour of historical area in Philadelphia! Tour guide Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and made learning all about the founding of America both interesting and fun!
Thank you so much for your kind words! "Interesting and fun" is what we aim for, and we're so glad to know that we, and Andrew, hit the mark. Thanks for spreading the word!
Unfortunately, it wasn’t what we were expecting. We were planning on going into Independence Hall to see where the Declaration was signed. The speaker was informative about the other aspects of the tour when it came to George Washington and Liberty Bell.
We're sorry the tour wasn't what you expected. Unfortunately, entry into Independence Hall is possible only via the Park Service's own tour of the building, and their reservation system, as well as the time required, make that unfeasible in a tour such as this. We're glad that you found the tour that you did have informative! That's what we pride ourselves on!
Received a solo tour with Neal and it was well worth it. He definitely has a passion for what he does, and has a wealth of information about the sites. Because it was Lincoln's birthday, we stumbled accross a parade/ reenactment. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much for your review! We feel fortunate to have Neil on our team, and are glad that your experience was such a positive one!
