Departure time is 05:00 or 06:00 am From anywhere in Amman through desert highway it takes 3 hours to drive to the south toward the Nabatean red rose city Petra. Petra is considered as one of the 7 wonders of the world, It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, its 230 kilometers away from Amman that was carved in stone more than 2000 years ago in order to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Visit its towns, damns, and water channels and enjoy a walk along the narrow Siq, a path which is the main entrance to the city, You will also see other monuments such as The Monastery and the Altar of Sacrifice. 09:00 am arriving Visitor Center in Petra and buy a ticket unless you have a Jordan Pass, you can just show the paper it is printed on or by phone to take the barcode. Start Petra site tour for 3-4 hours. 12:00 pm Driving toward Dead Sea
At 12:00 pm Heading to the Dead Sea by the back road Namalel road that it takes 3 hours driving, stop for a panoramic view photo shooting through the high mountains down toward the Wadi Arabah road that begins after 40 km. On the way there are a number of interesting places, prophet Lot's cave, lowest point on earth museum. At the beginning of the Dead Sea, there will be a stop for 5-10 minutes for a photo shoot the Dead Sea salt corals. 03:00 pm Arriving at Dead Sea resort hotel and use the following: facilities/beach/pools/ Dead Sea mud/cold water/ open lunch buffet-including vegetarian food. Enjoying the Dead Sea and swim for two to three hours, finish at approximately 6:00 pm, head to Amman, one hour driving and drop off at the same pick up point. 7:00 pm Arrive Amman city

Exceeded my expectations. Raed the driver was very safe, friendly and knowledgeable; Isam the guide was very informative and easy to get along with. Gave good recommendations on best way to get around. Got there early, so missed the crowds. So glad I went the private way and not a bus with many people. Petra was every bit as impressive as I had imagined. Had a good lunch, then a dip and body mud experience in the Red Sea via the Crown Plaza resort. The day was of good length. Got to fit everything in without things dragging along. I was limited with time so this gave me a real sense of the ancient lands with the time I had.
Asmar was an excellent guide throughout our time in Jordan. He went above and beyond by sharing useful information, insights, and context along the way, which really added value to the trip. He was professional, punctual, and very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. He also made sure we were comfortable at all times, providing plenty of beverages during the long days, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. During the trips to Petra, the Dead Sea, Amman city, and Mount Nebo, his knowledge and willingness to explain things clearly made the journey much more enjoyable and informative. We had an amazing experience today on our Petra and Dead Sea tour with Asmar as our driver and guide. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the whole day enjoyable from start to finish. Asmar went above and beyond by providing plenty of drinks throughout the trip, which was especially appreciated given the long day and warm weather. We visited the Dead Sea, and it was incredibly cool! The trip was perfectly organized. Our driver, Asmar, met us at the hotel, took us to the currency exchange office, explained the country along the way, and answered our questions. The Dead Sea, swimming in it, and the mud mineral baths—all of this will be a lifetime experience! At the end of the tour, we were quickly driven back to the hotel! Everything was top-notch!
Was picked up by Munir (Muneer Jarrar) he made the whole trip perfect. I was running late from Petra and he was still able to get me to all my other locations on time. Had an amazing time and was a pleasure to be driven by Munir so funny and great facts. Was safe driver and so super thoughtful. Was a pleasure to send the day with him and felt very safe and taken care of

We did this one day tour which allowed about 3 hours or so in Petra and a resort hotel on the Dead Sea. It was a great day. We did get an additional tour guide in Petra suggested by our guide/driver Maen. It worked out quite well and worth the extra cost when you have come so far to experience Petra. Maen was a fine driver, fine guide and answered our many questions giving us more understanding of Jordan traditionally and today. I think this is a very good way to see these must-dos in Jordan, if you are staying in Amman. Neither place had many tourists which is a shame as they are geared up for many more. I don't think January is a bad time at all to visit Petra.
Read was very friendly and helpful. The Dead Sea resort was very nice with good food. The driver gave us very good tips to navigate our way through Petra.
