In the morning pick up from your hotel in Amman and transfer via the Desert Highway for 2.5 -03.00 approx. hours to the astonishing rock city Petra. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated long time the Arabian trade routes, and is a must see in the Middle East. Meet your guide at the Visitor's Centre and start to explore the mystic site. You pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theatre and Qasr Al Bint. Free time on your own and then walk back the way you came. You will be provided with a box lunch to enjoy as a picnic in Petra, Or alternatively you might like to have lunch in a restaurant in the town after your visit to Petra. After you will be transferred back to Amman (03 hr driving) and dropped off at your hotel at the Amman/Amman or the airport

The tour was very well organized. The driver came on time and the tour guide at Petra was so knowledgeable. The only overall experience was awesome. The car was a big van which was super comfortable. The driver was very helpful and arranged food from a restaurant before dropping us at the hotel.
