Afterward, you’ll head to the Sou'wester Restaurant, a local favourite in the area, for dinner. The Sou'wester is known for its fresh, locally-sourced food and casual atmosphere. After dinner your guide will bring you back to downtown Halifax for a scenic, narrated driving tour through the city. You will pass multiple points of interest including the Titanic cemetery (Fairview Lawn Cemetery), Pier 21, Halifax Farmers Market and Point Pleasant Park.

You will head to the iconic Peggy's Cove restaurant, The Sou'wester, for dinner. The Sou'wester is well-known for serving some of the best seafood in the world, but if you aren't a seafood lover there are plenty of other tasty dishes available for you to enjoy. You will also have the opportunity to take pictures in front of the iconic lighthouse while you're here.
Arrive just in time to witness a breathtaking sunset as it paints the sky behind the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse, also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse. With the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean stretching out behind it, the scene is nothing short of magical, a moment you will cherish forever.
head to the beloved Sou’Wester Restaurant, a cozy local favorite since 1979. Known for its fresh, locally-sourced dishes and warm, laid-back vibe, it’s the perfect spot to unwind over a delicious dinner.
The evening will end with a spectacular drive through the downtown core where all the buildings are brightly lit up. Feel free to take pictures throughout the drive or just sit back and enjoy the view. After the scenic illuminated tour you won’t have to wander the streets to get back to your hotel as our complimentary shuttle will drop you off wherever you choose in downtown Halifax

Tour did not get us there for sunset but after it was dark, left us with barely 30-45 minutes for dinner. Driver was very brusque because we waited in the restaurant for him rather than wandering out in the dark in a strange place to look for him. Vehicle was in poor condition and driver had to stop along the way back in the dark because of some issue. Would not recommend this company.

The tour was a beautiful experience to add to cruise memories. The drive through the city was wonderful and relaxing with a detailed narrative from our talented guide Nilah. We arrived at Peggy’s Cove just in time to see the sunset and take some pictures before a delicious lobster dinner. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating to our schedule which made it a flawless experience. I would highly recommend the small group tour over a larger bus tour.
This was a great way to see the city of Halifax! Our guide Nilah was fantastic and gave us a wonderful narrative on the history of the city and its current state. We arrived at Peggy’s Cove just in time to watch the sunset and take some pictures before a nice dinner. She worked with our cruise schedule and had us back to the ship with time to spare. I would highly recommend this tour when visiting Halifax
Beautiful tour! Highly recommend going at night time for the sunset. Perfect timing of the excursion, had an hour to tour around the town and an hour to eat in front of stunning landscape. “Sunny” was very informative and would recommend him for a great experience.
My guide was so knowledgeable about all things Halifax! Peggy’s Cove is a very special place and the dinner was great!
We unfortunately the weather was poor, had fog so viewing the lighthouse was difficult. The tour takes you around Halifax furst then onto Peggy's Cove and your meal is at the Souwester which overlooks the lighthouse. Sarah our guide hard lots of local knowledge, ask her about the speakeasy.
Our tour guide was very good, professional, and knowledgeable. However, having her have to wait for us to have dinner was a bit awkward.
See sight tour is the fastest and most efficient way to learn about the history of Halifax and visit the most important places in a few hours. The highlight of the day was Peggy’s Cove with the wild Atlantic Ocean. Worth every dollar.
