I have had the most pleasant experience with Cameron visiting Peggy's Cove this morning. We got the chance to see the fishing village immersed in the fog and to hear interesting stories about the place and surroundings. Cameron is young but posseses great knowledge in his field and he was super friendly. We got 1 hour free time in the village, so there was time to take a few pics of the lighthouse and to pop in in some of the shops. If you have time don't miss out on Margaret's cafe: a lady was playing the violin inside and the coffee and the sandwich were delish. Thank you!
Great tour. Great locations to visit. Our tour guide’s Cassidy and Spencer get 5 stars as the were knowledgeable, friendly and tailored the tour to our needs. Lunch at the Boondocks was yummy. Make sure you bring a raincoat and suntan lotion.
Great tour to both places. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We had the right amount of time at each location. We had good food at Boondocks. Would recommend this tour and this tour guide duo. Also consider bringing rain coats and suntan lotion.
Wonderful people, highly recommend them for your trip, lovely people to be around and very nice and kind, found them high entertaining.
Such a great tour! We were able to spend over an hour at each stop and got lots of info about the history of the coves plus Halifax in general. The coves were beautiful, so much colour and lovely people, plus the food was amazing! Spencer and Cassidy were both lovely people, so entertaining and easy to talk to. They made us feel so comfortable and were accommodating in every way. If I ever come back to Halifax I’d love to see another tour with them!
We had a wonderful tour in Halifax, visiting Peggy’s Cove, the Swissair Memorial, and Fisherman’s Cove. Spencer and Cassidy were exceptionally accommodating and helpful throughout the day. Pickup and drop‑off at the pier were seamless, and the van was spotless and very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour.
On Thursday, 02 July I went on Coastal Icons: Peggy’s Cove & Fisherman’s Cove Small Group tour and had an excellent time. Spencer Ray our driver and Cassidy our tour Guide were verry knowledgeable. Since I was the only passenger we went to Fisherman’s Cove, which has colorful houses and shops on the beach, then we went to a few other beaches and parks that they went to as kids. They we re fun to travel with and good time was had by all. Pat.
Spencer was excellent and professional throughout the day. Very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. We would highly recommend. A super place to visit.
our boat was 31/2 hours late. Spenser waited for us all, which we greatly appreciated. we visited Peggy's Cove and Fisherman's Cove. the drives to both places were rather long but we kept ourselves going by telling jokes and listening to the guide. we were given 2 hours in Peggy's Cove which for us was way too much time. We ended up leaving early since we were all finished. Fisherman's Cove was quaint and colorful and more contained. it has great ice cream. the guide was not very experienced and kept reading from notes. the driver was excellent and helped the guide as we went along. the headset from the guide did not work as well as it should, especially with the ac cranked up. we recommended to the driver that he have a headset also. this was a small group tour that suited our needs and we would recommend it if you don't want another big bus tour.
Spencer was great! Very attentive and made sure the trip was all about what we wanted. His van was new and very clean.
