This is one of the most beautiful and different walking tours in the world, as we enter into particular houses to see their courtyards. These private houses only open for this festival so this is the unique chance to go inside. You can speak with the owners, they will be very proud and happy to speak about how they managed to decorate such wonderful patios. In this tour we visit the Winning Courtyards situated in hidden areas so it will be easier to find them with our guide. This tour is available in Spanish, English and French

The Cordoba Patios Festival takes place every year in May during 2 weeks and is a long standing tradition in Córdoba. Private "Patios" translates to "courtyards" are decorated with hundred of colourful flowers and plants. During our guided tour, we will go inside 10 to 15 particular houses to visit the most beautiful "Patios" of this Festival.
Santa Marina is one of the so-called "Fernandinean Churches", edificated in the City after Ferdinand III of Castile conquered it from the Moors in the 13th Century. The structure combines proto-gothic, Mudéjar and, to a lesser degree, late-Romanesque elements. Our meeting point is in the square in front of this church, if you come before our guided tour, maybe you can have a look inside if the church is open.
Church of St. Augustine, it´s construction started in 1328 in Gothic Style, we will stop a few minutes in San Agustin Square and will visit more patios of this area.
One of the most beautiful churches of the city, the church of San Lorenzo is one of the denominated fernandinas churches of Córdoba. This church was founded on an old mosque that replaced an older Visigothic church propably built between 1244 and 1300. We will see the outside of this church and visit some more particular patios of this area. After that and near this place, we will stop in a typical local tavern to have a D.O. Montilla-Moriles wine and a tapa.

I have waited over a week to write this review to be impartial and fair. In this timeframe, we have taken three other tours, all of which I have provided five star. The patios tour was really interesting and enjoyable to look at the flowers and the efforts these citizens make. Our tour guide was abrupt, unengaged, seemingly under informed and, frankly, unpleasant. We started with four people on the tour and two people left halfway through. We ended our tour earlier as well. I believe she is a good person, but the thought that no one ask a question of her nor did she have a depth of knowledge normally seen with guides. I do hate to be this harsh, but for all the other professional tour guides we’ve worked with. I just suggest this individual study some more and try to be more hospitable and polite.

It is a spectacular display of using flowers to decorate their patios. Many of these houses were 15 century houses which made the visit more exciting. The guide, Natalia was an excellent guide with a deep understanding of the city culture and it's gardens. We went through them with little waiting time.

Nice patios. We paid an extra x a premiun tour that wasn't. We saw several yards and bored we left and no gift was given. And they promised when paying for x premiun excursion. We did nothing different from other tourists and pay 36 euros to a guide who barely explained anything, it seems a scam when admission to the patios is free.

Llevamos muchos años organizando visitas guiadas con transparencia, profesionalidad y atención al detalle. No tendría sentido tratar de engañar a nadie. This was a fun evening. We saw a variety of lovely patios during the Festival weeks with a local guide who works in the Cordoba tourist office by day - so she was a wealth of helpful knowledge with an interesting perspective. We talked about local events and culture as we waiting in the queues to get into each patio. That was as fun as the patios themselves. The tour gave us a bottle of wine and a bottle of perfume as gifts. If you can go during the week rather than the weekend, we’d recommend it because the crowds will be smaller.
