Such a great pasta class. The hosts, Alessio and Emely, were wonderful. Her professional, open, warm and humorous nature opened our hearts and quickly made us forget our nervousness. The ambience was equally fantastic. The recipes are simple, very tasty and easy to recook. Both the pasta, which you actually make manually according to recipe, and the sauces (according to classic recipes) are fantassimo 🤩. The course is recommended for anyone who enjoys and is interested in great pasta dishes.
My wife and I had a great time making pici and ravioli with Irene. We had a great laugh together and Irene thought that my wife would make a great pasta chef- me not so much. 😆 The pasta we made was delicious and we enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace. We would thoroughly recommend doing a cooking class with Irene.
Delicious simple 3-course meal, with authentic Italian flavours. We learned to make two different types of pasta. Beautiful farm that uses its own products to realize it the cooking course. Wonderful experience!
This was One of the highlights of our trip! Our host was so enthusiastic and such a great teacher! The setting and everything about the class was perfect! Highly recommend!
Hello Leon. We had an amazing day with our host. The cooking class was more than we expected. The surroundings of the farm made the experience even that much more enjoyable. Simonetta made us feel warm and welcome. Her knowledge of pasta and sauces are amazing. It is an experience of Tuscany that we will never forget. The lunch that followed was glorious! Wonderful memories were made. I'm looking forward to trying the recipes when I get home! Thank you.
Fabulous authentic experience! If you have a time constraint I don’t recommend as we were there closer to 5 hours (activity listed as 3 hours long), but it is worth the time. The setting is beautiful and food was outstanding! Maria and Alister greeted us with drinks and snacks. We prepared 4 courses from beginning to end. The food was delicious! Maria provided us copies of the recipes (unfortunately we accidentally left ours at the house).
We really enjoyed our cooking experience with Simonetta! It was fun cooking in an Italian farmhouse kitchen. At the end of class we dined on the patio eating the delicious meal we had prepared. We would highly recommend this pasta making experience!
We went as a group of friends to a nearby farmhouse/agriturismo site for a lesson with Irene. We learned to make pici and ravioli as well as the sauce for the pici and filling for the ravioli. We had many questions, which she answered easily during the class as well as chatted with us. When it came time to cook the meal, we were dismissed to the dining room to await our dinner. As interested cooks we hung in the doorway of the kitchen and tried to ask more questions like how do you know when the thick Pici is done, as 7-9 mins is an estimate, but she didn’t really want to engage anymore. We asked a second time, as maybe she didn’t hear the question, but still no. We watched and gleaned what we could then sat down to eat a delicious, very large meal. This was a mostly good time, strange at the end though, why wouldn’t the cooking of the pasta be part of the lesson? And why didn’t she want to talk to us anymore? This was not the in home experience with Daniel that other reviewers raved about. It also did not include tiramisu which other reviews seemed to include. At the end of the day, I could make the pasta again at home, the main goal.
Had an amazing cooking class with Daniel at his family farm. Learnt how to make a traditional dish to the area with all local and fresh produce. Was an amazing day.
