Pasta Cooking Classes and Apulian Recipes

Thank you to Paola for this wonderful experience. Paola is more than kind, welcoming us into her home for a discovery of Apulia and top-notch gastronomy. Making orecchiette, preparing tomato sauce, followed by a complete meal with homemade specialties from Apulia, a delight. Paola also tells us the entire history of Apulia, the colonizations, the cities... She loves what she does, and you will have a magical moment in her presence. We had an absolutely incredible time making pasta with Paola! I will mirror what the other reviewers have said - this is more than just a cooking experience. We were welcomed into Paola's beautiful home - we learned about each other's lives and by the end of the cooking, we felt like we were leaving an old friend. Paola is extremely knowledgeable about Italian cooking and the history of Salento but she is also just a lovely warm and kind person. The experience is worth the money as we had wine and snacks during the pasta making. I would recommend this experience to anyone I know visiting Lecce - you won't regret it!

Paula welcomed us into her home like we were long last relatives. We had a wonderful time discussing both the history of food in the area and the importance of a healthy diet. Then it was off to making the pasta which was great fun and Paula was so patient as we fumbled about trying to get it made properly. Afterwards we cooked up a delightful meal filled with great conversations. Loved the experience and would highly recommend it.

This was wonderful! Paolo was so welcoming and so knowledgeable. This was one of the highlights of my month in Puglia.

What a fantastic evening we had at Paola. She knows a lot about the history of the region and the food and is a good storyteller. It was a lot of fun to learn how to make pasta and we ate it afterwards with a good glass of wine. We recommend everyone to go to Paola!

What an amazing experience!! I had so much talking and learning about the region and history while learning to make some of the most delicious pasta dishes I’ve had while in Italy. Very fresh. She really is a great host and I felt right at home. Can’t wait to come back to Puglia and visit again! Don’t miss out! Book this one!
