Culture, history, food and fun!

I enjoyed a full, long, hot day in Barcelona today! Ane was the guide for our trip. She was very attentive and funny too. She managed to teach us all about Catalonian and Spanish history, art and a lot of pop culture as well. The driver navigated through the crowded streets with ease. Our guide at the Familia Segura, Andreas, took us from the conceptual process to the building of the most incredible architectural and artistic works of Gaudi’s life that he didn’t live to see even held way to completion.

Amazing History to a Beautiful Park!

Park Guell is easily one of the most beautiful places, however doing this tour made it even more special! Who knew there was so much history and facts inside this park versus just a photo opportunity. The tour guide was amazing and he answered all questions that was asked of him! We went later on in the day which I think was good cause it wasn't super hot or overcrowded.

Guided Tour of Park Guell

Great guided tour of the most famous parts of Park Guell with lots of historical and interesting facts. The park is big and it gets hot and crowded fast so go as early in the morning as possible.

Good experience!

Great guide. Would be better if the trip included entry to the houses on the property, for the cost of the trip.

Park tour in June

During this tour we learned a lot about Gaudi, the park, the history of Barcelona, architecture, and engineering. There was a lot to take in, including the beautiful environment. Our guide, Xavier, was phenomenal. What stands out is his passion for the subject matter and depth of knowledge. We liked how he used images on a tablet to add to his storytelling. His explanations were clear and his command of English really helped with understanding the full story of the park. I would recommend this tour for those wanting to learn more about Gaudi outside of the cathedral and to see a more relaxed part of the city. Some tips are to bring water, sunglasses, and a hat as a lot of the park is sunny. Research the neighborhood around the park as there seem to be good places for a before or after snack and drink that are in walking distance.

Really cool tour, but prepare to walk!

We had a great time touring Park Güell! The history behind Antoni Gaudí’s vision is fascinating, and the architecture is stunning. My biggest piece of advice is to book a later slot—we went at 6:00 PM and it was perfect. The sun wasn't beating down on us, which made a huge difference because there is a lot of walking and climbing involved. Definitely a must-see in Barcelona, just wear comfortable shoes!

Amazing!!

The Guel Park was absolutely stunning. The mosaics were gorgeous and the lizard, El Drac was amazing to see in person. Also the architecture was so cool and the world’s longest bench we saw in the park was breathtaking. We would definitely come back again!
