Flying like a bird above the cloud on the Queen City Pokhara valley where you can see the Fewa Lake just under your feet. Paragliding is the adventure sport of jumping out of an aircraft with a special parachute. A paragliding trip in Nepal will take you through the fabulous scenery on the earth, as you share airspace with Himalayan Griffin vultures, kites, eagles, and float over villages, lakes, and jungle, temple, Monasteries with a fantastic view of the majestic Himalaya Vista. Pokhara is one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal. Paragliding in Pokhara is one of the best paragliding venues after Switzerland. Sarankot is the paragliding takes off point which is located in the lake city Pokhara at the elevation of 1592 meters above from the sea level. You will fly for about 20 min before you land on the bank of Phewa Lake.

Morning around 9 to 11 am is the best time for paragliding so our crew will come to pick up you at your hotel in Pokhara (Near lakeside only) around 9 am then they will take you in a hill called Sarangkot. After the 20 min activity, they will provide you with photos and videos then drop your hotel.

I had never paragliding before. But this was the perfect place for a first time experience. The views were beautiful and the paragliders were very experienced and friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone who has never enjoyed the thrill of paragliding before.

Pokhara was very beautiful city i was planning to do paragalading from very beginning but got opportunity last month. Himalayn adventure arrange us that actively in pokhra. it was a short 30 min flight but very wonderful.
