Our guide was very knowledgable about the history and politics of Tahiti, and has long family connections that helped him give context. He was also very accommodating when we arrived very late due to traffic, and told us where to meet along the tour so that his other guests were not inconvenienced.

Christian was a great guide. Even though it was just me on the tour, he did not cancel and instead gave me a great overview of the city and culture. **Note: On Sundays the market is closed (just FYI for anyone else) so the city was very quiet.
