The tour aims to introduce you to the city of Papeete and a part of the island of Tahiti, with a special focus on local life, history, and Polynesian culture. Your Polynesian guide's knowledge and personal history make this a unique and personalized experience. You will visit places few visitors have the opportunity to see and will have time to soak up the atmosphere. A few unusual viewpoints are also included in the tour. The tour of Papeete itself will last approximately one hour, followed by a two-hour exploration of either the eastern or western part of the urban area surrounding Papeete. This area stretches from the town of Mahina to Paea and is full of diverse sites that will transport you to a part of Tahiti's rich facets.

Christian gave a wonderful tour focusing on the culture and history of Tahiti. He took us to interesting places related to Tahiti's history, some of which also had beautiful views. He was willing to customize the tour to our interests and even took us to enjoy fresh juices and fruit.

Our Papeete and Tahiti Historical and Cultural Tour with Christian was one of the most meaningful experiences of our visit to French Polynesia. The historical and cultural tour of Papeete has been interesting but it should be noted that it covers only part of Tahiti and must be complemented by visits to other parts of the large and small island. I was lucky enough to be the only client and to have the guide, Christian Shan Sei Fan, to myself. This privileged moment and the long conversations with him were invaluable and allowed me to understand the issues of Tahitian society.
