Panoramic hike around Budapest

Amazing hike with stunning views! The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip safe and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing hike with Gyuri in April. It was cool and very windy at the highest point of the hike but we loved being outdoors and doing something different than the usual tourist activities. The scenery was breathtaking, and the sense of peace throughout the journey was incredible. Gyuri was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable and supportive, making the experience even more special. He even brought snacks! I highly recommend this hike and Gyuri to anyone looking to connect with nature.

It was great to get out of the city to see it from a different perspective. Our guide was very personable and we had great conversation as we hiked through the forest. He even surprised us with a ride in the chair lift back up to where the car was parked. We were happy to not hike back up. It was a bit strenuous but very enjoyable!

我和老婆大人本來只是想找個布城附近的一日徒步體驗，無意中發現了這個寶藏行程！嚮導Attila帶我們登上了多瑙河大彎邊上的山頭，讓我們看到了一般人難以見到的美景。雖然對體能有些小挑戰，但是沿路的風景絕對讓人覺得不虛此行～My wife and I wanted to take an one-day trekking trip by the Danube Bend area. We found this trip online and got more than what we expected! Attila, our tour-guide-of-the-day, is an experienced trekker/cyclist, and he knew the region like the back of his hand. He brought us drinking water and snacks for the trip and led us to the most beautiful view points we could imagined. The walk may be a bit challenging in the beginning for city slickers, but in general a very pleasant walk, and the panoramic view of the Bend is definitely worth the effort. Thanks to Attlia, we had a great day enjoying the great Hungarian outdoors~

We had a great day with Gyuri. He was responsive and flexible to our need. The trip itself gave a fabulous view of the city. I would recommend the trip to anyone that wants to do something different from the usual tourist.

Gyorgy Kulcsar was our guide on this great hike. He was on time and drove us to our destination. We forgot water and snacks but he helped there as well. The hike was tailored to our ability and he pushed the pace when we wanted to do so. To cap off a wonderful day in the hills in Buda he took great photos of our adventure and provided them to us free. Thank you, Guryi, for a marvelous adventure.

A fantastic experience. Gyuri and Nikki were so helpful, full of knowledge and enthusiastic! Arranging the hike was (forgive the pun) a walk in the park, with Gyuri offering lots of advice on how to get to the meeting place/modes of transport/things to be prepared for etc. The whole team loved it! We did the multi adventure tour including hiking and canoeing. Had a fantastic day with Gyuri! We were picked up at 9 right at our accommodation which was very helpful and efficient. It was about an hour drive to the start of our hike, a lovely 2.5 hr hike with breaks. Relaxing low/medium intensity, perfect to enjoy the views and nature. Then, we hiked down to the river where we got on a canoe. Beautiful views of the mountains, low/medium intensity rowing with a stop for swimming and a riverside bar nearby. At the end of the trip we were picked up and brought back to Gyuri’s car. Very nice to be guided around the nature of Hungary, and it was a very relaxing day in the fresh air. Highly recommend if you love nature and a little exercise!

The Elizabeth Observatory was also good and the view from the elevator was good, but the best part was that it was possible to walk peacefully along the forested streets of Hungary. Of course there are some streets and climbs but it was a pleasant hike that was not burdensome!

While in Budapest for a short weekend, “Outdoor Adventures Hungary” was one of the activities I absolutely did not want to miss... and my feeling was the right one: it is an experience to live! Gyuri will make you discover breathtaking landscapes! He is a great guide, patient, adapts to everyone, and knows how to transmit his passion! I hope we will have the opportunity to come back and renew the hikes with him!
