Start Time: 7:00 AM Depart from Leh early in the morning, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide who will provide insights about the region's culture, history, and geography. Drive towards Pangong Tso Lake, which is located approximately 160 kilometers from Leh, and takes around 4-5 hours to reach, depending on road conditions.
Enroute, pass through the picturesque landscapes of Ladakh, including the rugged mountain ranges, scenic valleys, and quaint villages. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayas as you ascend towards the Chang La Pass, which is situated at an altitude of 5,360 meters and is one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Take a short break at Chang La Pass to acclimatize to the high altitude, and capture some stunning panoramic photos of the snow-capped peaks and valleys below.
After sightseeing drive back to Leh and drop off to your hotel.
Continue the drive towards Pangong Tso Lake, and upon arrival, be mesmerized by the surreal beauty of the lake. Pickup is available from all hotels, residences, and other accommodations within Leh. Please provide your hotel/accommodation name or pickup address at the time of booking or at least 3 days before the tour date. Your driver and guide will meet you at the scheduled pickup time. Driver/guide contact details will be shared one day prior to the tour for smooth coordination. Important: An Inner Line Permit (ILP) is mandatory for visiting Pangong Lake. Travelers are advised to obtain the permit in advance during their stay in Leh. If the permit has not been arranged, we can assist with the process. Permit processing is available only on weekdays (Monday to Friday, excluding government holidays) and may require your original passport or other government-approved identification.

I went to Pangong lake in Ladakh from Leh. It was one day tour with a private car and guide and the price was 500 USD (It was not worth it at all). I thought its price was Indian Rupee since other website write it in Rupee but it was US dollars. And the content - just went to the destination, explored for one and half hour, then just came back. This is nothing but scam. I strongly request for the refund or other compensation.

We had a good trip with our guide Rigzin and driver Norbu. They were well versed with the roads and weather conditions. We saw some blue sheep on the way as well. Overall a great experience and definitely recommended.
