Hunza Nagar is an hamlet surrounded by the most mesmerizing mountains of the Karakorum group including Rakaposhi, Diran, Golden, Shishper and Passu Peaks. The views are breath taking and the feeling is of a paradise on earth. The two kingdoms of Hunza and Nagar coexisted as rivals and that kept them battle hardened and creative. The ancient Silk Route also passes through the valley and its traces are found at many places, it connected Indus Civilization with the Chinese Civilization. Modern time Hunza Nagar is synonym with women empowerment and cultural emancipation. Winter sports including Ice Hockey is a new addition on the atlas of the region and has added color to the otherwise dull winter life in the region. Cherry blossom and autumn dry leaves are the unforgettable scenes. Attabad lake and Altit/Baltit Forts are places of special significance in the region. All these beauties and traces are along the Karakorum Highway and the place has comfortable Rendezvous for the travelers.

We have just returned from the amazing experience in Pakistan. This is trip that has been on my list for for many years a tour of Northern Pakistan in Swat and Peshawar regions. Over the years I talked my wife into doing this. We had many reservations prior to embarking on this trip due to the unstable nature of the region . Once we got with Gypsy Tours and Bakhsh many of those concerns were eliminated. We had several teams calls prior to embarking to plan a fairly comprehensive trip into the limited time we had .. we are incredibly great-full to Bakhsh for always going beyond our expectations and making our experience so unbelievably unique to us. We have managed to make memories that will live with us and we will talk about for many years . Having Baksh organise the whole trip including hotels meant that we felt safe and relaxed the whole time . Free to enjoy the stunning landscape and the colourful and amazing people in the diverse regions we visited . I can’t thank Gypsy Tours and especially Bakhsh enough for helping create an adventure that will live long into our memories.. and yes we are already planning our next trip in Hunza region ! I am from Australia and wanted to visit Hunza Baltistan and connect with local people at a community level. I am interested in community development as well as local food and seeing spectacular scenery. I had the most amazing time over 14 days. Bakhsh was remarkable in relation to his general knowledge, his contacts and at all times his concern that I was safe and enjoying myself. He is devoted to doing all things to make sure I had the best experience and was flexible and very generous I will recommend him to all my friends and family without hesitation. Whether on known or off the beaten tracks, Gypsy Traces & Tours guided us through the beauty of the Hunza valley with a lot of heart, humour, and passion.
