Painted Ladies Wine Country Tour
Description
This tour is really unique that you get to hear some of the amazing, historical and groovy stories about San Francisco before spending your day tasting some delicious wines as we make our way through the beautiful Sonoma Valley in one of our Vintage VW buses! We will visit 3 award winning wineries. Each winery has been carefully selected for its unique character, knowledgeable and friendly staff, lovely ambiance and off course their delicious wines.You will also have the unique experience of touring a wine cave at one of the most scenic wineries in all of Sonoma/Napa. We will then make a stop at an Italian winery to enjoy lunch and have our second wine tasting. You will have the chance to taste artisan cheeses, Salami, fresh deli and green salads, pizza, including vegetarian and gluten free options, as well as wine by the glass! Our final winery, you get to explore the vineyards for some lovely pictures and good vibes!

Itinerary
One of our 2 pickup locations. The pickup for the Union Square area is at 427 Post St. This is just outside the side entrance of the Westin St Francis Hotel and across the street from Morton's Steak House. The tour typically departs here at 9a.m. although you need to be there 10 minutes early as not to miss the bus.
Our Fisherman's Wharf pickup is at the street in front of the Hotel Caza located at 1300 Columbus Ave. Typically the tour departs here at 9:15a.m. although you need to be there 10 minutes early as not to miss the bus.
Enjoy a complimentary mimosa at this iconic photo op before continuing on to wine country.

- If you prefer to eat lunch at the Sonoma Plaza- please let us know. We might be able to make that happen. Depending on the group consensus.
- Note that each vehicle seats up to 7 people total. We can still accommodate larger groups seated in separate vehicles.
- Everyone in your group needs to complete our digital waiver.
- COVID-19: A plexiglass partition has been installed between the driver and passengers. The touch points on our buses will be fully disinfected between and during tours.
- Anyone showing symptoms of COVID 19, including fever, cough or shortness of breath won’t be able to participate.
- Everyone will be required to wear a mask while inside the bus. We will have extra masks for purchase in case you have forgotten yours. Hand sanitizer will be provided.

Do it! This tour from SF to Sonoma was worth the time and the money. The wineries were great, our guide, Caio, was friendly, fun and knowledgeable, and the day was an overall great experience!!

Caio was an incredible guide from the moment he picked us up! He was welcoming, full of fun facts, and made us feel right at home in San Francisco. We stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge and then went to three wineries, each with their own unique selection and vibe. The hosts at the winery were all great as well and we could tell that Caio made a great impression on them as well. We would certainly do this tour again and loved our day in Poppy the VW Bus!
Fantastic tour of the sonoma valley with Caio. Caio was an excellent driver and kept us well informed as we went along the tour. All 3 wineries provided a great experience with plenty of wine for the tasting sessions. Each tasting session ranged from $20-$30 with discounts available when purchasing wine. Stunning locations, great company and a professional tour guide. Top marks to Caio and the team.

Amazing day trip with Caio from Painted Ladies tour group visiting the wine region. Travelling in an old camper van with 70s vibe painted within and music played.. Rugged up and ready to roam.. First stop was mimosa at the Golden Gate Bridge.. Then on to three beautiful wineries.. Caio had fantastic knowledge of the area and wine. His relationship with each of the wineries was warm and welcoming - @caio thank you for a memorable trip 🌟🍾
