This is an absolute MUST while in Sitges/Barcelona. The entire staff was so incredible, friendly, funny, hospitable and 100% lovely! The bike ride is pretty flat, slight and short incline/declines but nothing major. Learning about the wine and cava was fantastic! And the cooking part was a wonderful end to a fun adventure. Thank you to our amazing hosts for a wonderful day!
Great experience. Lovely vineyard and winery. Would definitely recommend!
What a fabulous experience! A leisurely gravel bike ride through some wine country, followed by some very nice Cava, a very interesting tour of the winery lead by the owner! Afterwards, a paella cooking class out by the pool with hands-on experience and more Cava!! It was a great day!
This experience was awesome from start to finish!! Alex was a great guide!! The bike ride around the winery, the winery tour and the cooking of the paella at the end was the best.
We had a wonderful half day with Alex at the Romagosa Torne vineyard, he picked us up from our hotel in Sitges at 9am and drove to the vineyard, we had a bike tour experience around the grounds, Alex was very knowledgeable about the history of the vines and local information, he wanted us to get involved tasting the grapes and almonds on route, the bike ride could have been slightly longer but the weather sadly cut this short. We then had a tour of the cellar’s tasted the beautiful Cava, Rose and Moscatell and had hands on experience of making a paella. We were lucky enough to also have a wonderful group of people to chat to, Alex was a great host and we would highly recommend it. The price was reasonable for all the effort and entertainment we experienced.
This was such a fun way to spend the morning. The bike ride was a pleasant and relatively easy. The cava was amazing and so was the tour. Well worth it!
Alex was a fantastic guide. I can highly recommend this activity. We got picked up from the hotel, met some great fellow travellers, cycled through a vineyard (nice pace, very inclusive), sampled cava, learnt about cava making then made and ate paella for lunch. For the price - very good value. We would do it again! such a great way to spend half a day and Alex was great fun and very knowledgeable!
Had a great morning with Alex riding around the lovely vineyards and getting some insights into wine growing in the region as we went. Then onto a quick class about making paella, which we then went home and replicated a few days later. Alex was a really great host. All in a all a great time was had.
Alex went above and beyond for our tour! His constant communication assured me we were with the right guide! Always answered me quickly and respectfully. The tour was very informative and we saw such beautiful country on the bike ride (mostly down hill until the very end 😉). The Cava winery was a tremendous tribute to generations of making great wine; you could feel the love and history with each sip!
Great fun and learned a lot about cava in the region at a local cava producer and cooked a great paella. Plus a bike ride through the vineyards near by. Diverse type of tour! Alex was a great tour guide too!
