Learned so much about the city’s origins and the University origins and St. Anthony. 10 and 8 year olds could follow along.
Giovanni called us in the morning to inform us that Trenitalia was on strike. Thanks to this we could find other ways to get from Mester to Padova. He met us at Padova train station and helped us by tickets to Scrovegny Chapel. Visiting Padova's main objectives he gave us a lot of information regarding the history simbolism and meanings of all churches, palaces and paintings inside them. Giovanni a guy with great knowledge of history, art and religion was able to answer all our questions. The guided tour was interesting, captivating and pleasant. Definitely an interesting tour and a great guide.
