Emo egypt greeted us as we got off ship, and directed us to our driver. Driver and guide were very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Alexandria and Cairo traffic is absolutely crazy so be prepared for longer car ride than expected.
We had the most wonderful 2 day overnight excursion to Cairo! Have used Viatour several times in the past and never disappointed. Our guide, Menna Allah Husspen, and driver, Belal Hassan, were far better than we could have wished! Menna is very knowledgeable & accommodating, and Belal navigated Cairo & Alexandria traffic expertly. Our overnight accommodation was a small boutique hotel that looked directly at the pyramids & we watched the Sound & Light from the balcony. An included amazing Egyptian breakfast awaited us in the morning, prepared specifically for us. We spent a wonderful 2 days with Menna & Belal and didn’t want to have to say goodbye! If you’re looking for a great Cairo experience, be sure to book this excursion, and ask specifically for Menna & Belal! You will be as pleased as we were!
