Overnight stay in the Agafay Desert, Deluxe Tent with Show and Swimming Pool
Description
After picking you up from your chosen pickup point, we will undertake a fantastic minibus trip to the Agafay Desert. After an hour of travel, we will enter the arid landscapes of the Atlas and arrive at the camp where we will spend a very special night. Once there, we will meet a set of haimas and they will welcome us with tea. Then you can choose whether you want to take a quad bike or camel ride (extra) through the dunes of Agafay or if you prefer to stay in the camp to watch the sunset. Either way, you will appreciate the wonders of the desert. Later, we will settle around a campfire to enjoy a dinner in the purest Moroccan style, consisting of salads, chicken tagine, vegetable couscous and dessert. And not only that, but the evening will be animated by a traditional show. Belly dancing, fire-breathing, gnawa music ....

That was really nice experience, very simple place, beautiful staff there, warm memories, not luxury - just what I was looking for ☺️
Aside from the pickup on the other side of Marrakech and the van which was a bit old with air conditioning that wasn't great What a change of scenery We had been told that it wasn't really the desert but not at all, what silence, magnificent landscape of dunes with an infinite horizon Too bad there were clouds because it was a full moon and we only saw a few stars The tent is very well designed with air conditioning (extremely important for sleeping) 2 beautiful pools (one very chlorinated though) but with a splendid view We did 1 hour of quad biking (400 dirhams for a double, 300 for a single) with a photo stop in the middle of nowhere Then the dining room was magnificent, cozy and subtly lit A DJ set the mood while we ate (drinks other than water are extra but not excessive) then a power outage No problem with the entertainment, a local group came to perform their show, inviting the guests to participate Then offers of free henna and finally the highlight, a guitarist around a campfire alternating local songs with French and Spanish standards A quick foot dip in the pool afterwards and sleep in absolute silence Local breakfast in the morning and 1/2 hour of camel riding (plenty enough), 150 dirhams per person) Return trip afterwards with the same van In short, it's a must-do, it's magical Withdraw money beforehand, their ATM charges exorbitant fees A very beautiful experience before returning to France
Overall the experience was a lot of fun. The driver to pick us up was on time and very friendly. The reception at the camp was great and our guide throughout was professional and friendly. The wife loved the Camel ride. Keep in mind the ATV ride is more scenic than anything and they don't really allow any speed. The tents themselves were good, no issues with bugs or critters. But the showers were older and could use new heads. The food was average from what we have had in Morocco but the entertainment was fantastic. Overall a great time, we have never seen so many stars in the sky and recommend bringing a telescope or something to get great views.
We had a fabulous time in the overnight desert stay. It totally exceeded our expectations. The tents were very comfortable and more like secure cabins, with locked doors. The setting was very scenic, everywhere was very clean and the entertainment was really good. (I'm not someone who often enjoys hotel entertainment 😁.) The staff were very helpful, especially Sami, who even sorted out our transfer between cities the following day, as another company had cancelled our tickets. Our daughter enjoyed the quad biking but there was no pressure to join the additional activities for those who just wished to relax. I would really recommend this.

An immersion at the edge of the desert where the light dazzles and enchants you, and where the dunes blend with the sky. A quality experience where everything is arranged for your entertainment and satisfaction. The welcome is friendly, the meals are plentiful and tasty, the show is participatory and traditional, but above all...the environment is sumptuous!! Do not hesitate! I recommend...

Superb experience in the Agafay desert. An exceptional welcome, a good meal, and a great show. The quad activity was top-notch! Special mention to Adil, our driver on the way back, for the wonderful atmosphere.
