Ghost hunting in Indy

This was such a fun experience! One of my best friends and I try and plan to do something unique for our each other on our birthdays. I was struggling to find something that we hadn't done before when I came across the outdoor escape room for downtown indy. Oh my goodness was it so much fun! We got to explore downtown Indy while working together to help call for the Empresses! It was like our very own ghost hunting adventure. Each clue was unique and helped us to our next destination. There was also plenty of hints available, if we were struggling to figure out what the clues meant. What I loved about the hints was that they didnt just give us the answer right away but clues to help us get there on our own. The other thing I liked was that we were able to do this on our own time. We figured out a time that was best and stepped out into our adventure. We also were able to take a lunch break in between! 10 out of 10 would recommend this experience!

Fun for the whole family

So much fun! We were visiting with our kids and wanted a fun way to explore the city. This was amazing! Our kids are 7-14 and everyone was able to get involved. It kept us busy and was challenging. Definitely recommend it!

Great Time with Staff Escape in Indy

The Outdoor Escape was a nice activity for our staff retreat. While not necessarily fond of the divination theme, we enjoyed the challenge. We used two boxes and made teams to compete. The clues were fair and took some time to figure out, but not too difficult. We will definitely use another one if a different game is created.

A fun downtown adventure

This "escape the city" adventure was amazing. It was a fun way to slow down and enjoy the city while trying to find clues and solve puzzles. Each clue took us to a different monument or part of downtown. It was both stimulating (the puzzles were fun) and relaxing (nice scenery and self paced so plenty of time for dinks and snacks).

Adventures in Indianapolis.

Good fun but wrap up if its cold. The game is well thought out and the clues were hard enough to be a challenge but not too hard that you were in a perpetual state of confusion. Once the initial panic subsided and we worked out the first clue, our confidence grew and we wandered the streets of Indy looking at sights and areas that we might not have visited otherwise. Took 2.5 hrs and the app was very useful in giving us a prompt where we got a bit stuck. If you like puzzles and finding areas off the beaten track, then this is a good way to spend an afternoon.

Enjoy the adventure!

We loved the game! We had an event on Friday night so an “escape the city” was perfect activity for the day. We took our time, explored and generally had a great time. We only used a few hints and really enjoyed the adventure walking the city and figuring out the puzzle clues. Overall – we loved it.

Clever but disappointing

We are two 69-year-old women who think we're still pretty with it, but we had a hard time with this scavenger hunt. First of all, there was a lot of construction around Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis making it hard to find some of the clues. Secondly, we were unable to locate a photograph of a man in a hat because we think it had been removed. This game is only good if it's reviewed frequently to make sure all the clues are current and intact. After a couple of hours, we were tired and gave it up. I'm not sure, though, even if we had persevered, we would have been able to finish. It's a lot of walking!

Fun times in Indy

We loved it! We did it with a couple of friends who also I loved it. Age ranges from 64 to 40 years. We loved going around Indianapolis and discovering parts that we would never have known as the canal & and the sculptures there. It took us several hours but that was the best part for us, we had the entire day free from our conference and the game format allowed us to grab a bite to eat for lunch, played a bit more, attended a short meeting & dinner, then finished the last 2 after that.  My husband really liked it, it was his birthday gift.
