Perfect organization. Driver and guide on top. Recommend
It’s truly breath taking experience. The staff was amazing even though it might seem hectic at during the events it so worth it.
Absolutely amazing - gorgeous weather and the whale sharks were incredible! Swimming in and around waterfall was very relaxing and exhausting. Highly recommend this trip!!
I did a private tour to swim with the whale sharks and then to Kawasan Falls. The guide also arranged for a traditional Philippine lunch on the way back. We did it 1 day so was a 4am start and back by 5pm so a long day but well worth it. Oslob is 4hrs drive from Cebu (we were staying at Dusit) on Mactan island. Traffic is insane and roads are average but don't let that hold you back. Whale sharks were super cool, you get 30 mins in the water with them, take a go pro! You are right next to them. They are only babies but still big enough and the experience is well worth the trip. Do a private tour if you can, my guide made it so easy. We had a driver and guide and it was $200 AUD each for the day with everything included. Kawasan falls is Epic too.. I would suggest doing the canyoneering if you can. We didn't have time but it looks cool. West coast is very picturesque too and would be also worth doing the swimming with the sardines (again we don't have time), but the guide showed us his videos from previous visits and it looks fun.
My driver Chad was awesome. Very social and professional. The tour guides I had were the same. Very helpful and polite. All in all a great experience
It was a really awesome trip. Private driver came to pick us up in Cebu and took us right on time. When we arrived at whale sharks, our guide, Princess, was on top of it from the start. She took great care of us to help us queue and then took us to get breakfast (included). When we were up to go on the boat to see the whale sharks, the group in front of us booked 9 tickets but had 11 people, so it caused some issues. Princess fought hard for us and found another boat to take us out to swim with the whale sharks. I really appreciate her ability to take care of her guests. The whale sharks were really cool and beautiful creatures, and they feed them back and forth so everyone gets a chance to see them up close. Also, we rented a go pro and did not have an SD card, so they transferred all of our content directly to my phone after each activity. Really nice tour group with great organization. 10/10 you should definitely take this tour, and if you get Princess, you will be lucky! — waterfall was really pretty but a bit cold. Nice for photos and can swim in the water but it is about waste deep and cold. Enjoyed our time and would do it again if I came back!
The staff super nice, Luzel, and always taking care of everything to guarantee that everything was enjoyable, they help us with every detail If you want to have pictures of the sharks is to bring a Go Pro camera otherwise is difficult so check that befire taking the toyr, in the place they rent and its super practical
We enjoyed this trip enormously. Were very well taken care of from start till finish. I understand the concerns for animal welfare, and yes there are other places in the world where you can see these magnificent animals in a more natural way, albeit at a much higher price. But it is not like elephant riding or tiger parks, which I would never do. The sharks are not kept in captivity and are free to go wherever they want, and would no doubt leave if it bothered them too much. However, I would have appreciated it if they spend more of their effort on educating the visitors.
