We had two strokes of absolute good fortune on this tour: first, we ended up being the only couple, and second, we had the wonderful Amelia as our guide! Despite the miserable weather (thankfully, raincoats were provided), we had the absolute best time. A huge tip: do not eat before this tour! Amelia introduced us to Dotonbori’s best eating spots, giving us fantastic opportunities to try Osaka's incredible and diverse food. She also showed us hidden gems like tiny shrines and secret passageways that you would easily walk right past on your own. Amelia was incredibly knowledgeable about local history and culture, and we cannot thank her enough. To top it all off, the dancing boat captain on the river cruise provided the perfect, joyful finale to an amazing couple of hours
Ryan was great! He took us through the tour in a decent pace and also made it interactive. Highly recommended!
This tour was so much fun and our guide Natsumi was such a delight. You can tell she loves her job and Osaka. She went above and beyond the expectations of this tour.
A pleasant evening with nice people from all over the world. When you are in Osaka for the first time and perhaps alone, it is a perfect start. A big shoutout to our guide, Kenta. He was great and provided a lot of information that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise.
Diego is a good knowledgeable guide, ride was good, everyone was friendly, i liked it and recommend it for sure
Moa was a fantastic guide, so informative and friendly she was perfect ☺️amazing value for money. We got to stop and try different foods and the boat was a lovely ending. We would highly recommend!
A really enjoyable evening with our fantastic guide Ryan . Ryan was knowledgeable friendly and fun . He interacted with the group , told fun stories and facts and took us to great places to sample street food we wouldn’t usually have chosen. The boat trip was fun but it was difficult to hear the guide clearly. Would certainly recommend this tour . Thank you Ryan for a great experience
Ryan was very engaging and shared fun facts and personal stories. The tour felt a bit rushed, however this was a reflection of the hustle and bustle of Dotonbori area which was fun to experience by night.
Ken and Yu gave a excellent tour of the Dontonbori area. Showed us some of the top local cuisine spots and the history of the region. Booked us on a 20 min cruise. The highlight for me was the walk to the small shrine built in 1600 that survived the wars but is hidden just behind the busiest street. Also it was great to hear the from the local tour guide about their history and experiences in the area.
Because of the rain, only two people came to the tour, so thanks to the organizers for not cancelling it. Diego told us a lot of interesting things about Dotonbori and answered all of our questions. You could really see that he loves Japanese culture and knows the area very well. Greetings from an Ayrton Senna fan :)
