We start our tour at the impressive Cologne Cathedral (outside visit)
We walk by Roncalliplatz and later we stop by the famous “Brauhauses” in Cologne to talk about the beer tradition and the most delicious German food to enjoy after the tour.
We stop in front of the Roman Museum of Cologne to talk about 2000 years of history and to learn about Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium, the original name of the city. We will explain why the so called “mother of Cologne” has a bad reputation... Perfect for Game of Thrones fans
We'll continue to the old market to show you one of the cutest butt-statues in Cologne (yes, you read that right) and introduce you to two characters that everyone knows in the city, the representations of love+friendship and money+success
One of Cologne's most picturesque squares along the Rhein river boulevard. A must-see of the city! We will talk about Cologne during the medieval times and recommend the best activities for your free time around here.
Did you know that the famous Eau de Cologne is named after Cologne, Germany? We will learn about the art of perfume and the most famous customers of the world's oldest fragrance company!

We took part in a city tour of Cologne and were very satisfied overall. Particularly noteworthy was the pleasantly small and international group size, which provided a relaxed and personal atmosphere. The tour was accompanied by two guides – one very experienced and one a little new to the team. Both took us competently and sympathetically through the city and gave many interesting insights. In terms of content, the tour was very varied: From the historic city walls to exciting backgrounds to the Church of St. Martin to the history of the famous Eau de Cologne and the Farina family. Information on special art studios as well as Cologne figures such as Tünnes and Peel were of course not to be missed. All in all it was a successful and harmonious tour with very nice guides. A nice way to get to know Cologne in an interesting and entertaining way – highly recommended.
