Led by a local French chef and winemaker who shares a deep love for its food and way of life, this intimate small-group experience takes you through the old town's market and into carefully selected local shops, with curated tastings at each stop. The experience unfolds like a French Riviera menu - from olives and warm apéro-style specialties to a beloved grandmother-style braised onion tart. Then, like local friends, we pause at a nearby café for a carefully selected Provençal rosé pairing with local cheese - an apéro moment to soak in the sun and the flavors of the French Riviera. You’ll also explore the aromas of your wine through a playful sensory experience, discovering notes like peach, strawberry, and citrus. Finally, we indulge in a local favorite dessert. Come hungry. Vrginie is a wonderful, warm guide. She took us through the market and provided us with excellent information specific to French delicacies, and demonstrated expert knowledge of foods we loved to learn about and try!
One of a kind opportunity to explore the markets with a knowledge chef that has relationships with May of the vendors. We were able to taste local olives, cheese, and specialty items at the market and at a few restaurants.

This was advertised as a goody tour but the food was not very good at all. Also they said it included a glass of wine but it was just a small taste. There were 10 of us and they poured the wine and still had slightly more than half of the bottle left? Not a glass of wine. The guide was good but the food was very poor.
Hello Philip, I believe you may have mixed up tours, as this review does not correspond to the Ooh La La Food Tour in Cannes. The details you mention (wine service, and overall experience) do not match what we offer. I have also checked our recent bookings and do not have your name on our guest list, nor do I recall hosting your group. All of our guests over the past months have had a very different experience, focused on high-quality tastings in small, curated groups. My husband and I took the Ooh La La tour of the Marché Forville with Virginie and had a wonderful morning! Virginie was very friendly and so knowledgable about french cuisine! We got to learn what was in season, and sample different bites from local vendors. Everything was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this to any foodies visiting Cannes.
It was wonderful! I learned so much about the food and culture of Cannes. Virginie was awesome! She shared recipes for the produce we saw and we sampled so many delicious items. I would highly recommend joining her on this tour but don’t eat before and expect to take home the best experience!
My mother and I got lost trying to find the initial meeting spot and Virginie waited for us!! We were so relieved. The tour keeps you right on the Main Street and up a couple allies to show you what and where the locals eat. The market is amazing and I could have spent hours there. Virginie has a passion for local food and culture that you can see and feel AND TASTE during your time with her. Our group was super small but all the better to ask questions and learn more about her and her life in France. She is very personable and polite and was a pleasure to spend time with during our very short stop in Cannes. The only suggestion I would have is that she had one of those microphones that attaches to a speaker clipped on her belt. She was very soft spoken and with the strong French accent I missed some dialogue but I would 100% do this again. I bet the croissant tour she does is amazing too! Thank you Virginie!
Virginie is an excellent guide. She introduced us to the food and produce of Cannes. Our food allergies were accommodated with grace. The tour provides a unique opportunity to see Cannes and its people.
We had a super nice walk through the weekly markets of Cannes in the center with tasting of regional specialties and final tasting of things we had collected along the way. Our German speaking guide entertained us well. The stalls visited had some delicacies in store.
Fabulous tour with Virginie. Excellent tours of markets and delicious samples and delights. Learned much about the Riviera food scene and delicacies. Highly, highly recommended! Would definitely take another of her tours again if I’m ever in Cannes! Wonderful!
