Such a fun day trip!

It was a really well organised day - Murat messaged me beforehand to confirm everything and he even kindly came to pick me up from my hostel which I really appreciated! I had such a fun day interacting with many friendly local people and the hike was amazing! The higher we got, the more amazing the views were - seeing snowcapped mountains hiding behind other mountains, seeing the streams and seeing the different animals grazing made the landscape even more beautiful! Murat shared some interesting facts and information about the area too which helped me understand where I was and what was going on in the area and in the mountains which was great too! I really enjoyed this day trip and I would recommend it to anyone! Truly off an off the beaten path adventure that's 1000% worth doing!

A perfect day in the mountains.

A perfect day with Marat, punctual in the pickup, and from there everything was perfect, good conversation in English with explanations about the place; he grew up there and his family comes from the area, which is why he knows so much and shares firsthand what he tells you. The forest and the mountains are the summer refuge of his family. Then we visited his uncle's bee farm, which offered us a special meal, including honey from his hives. The truth is that it is highly recommended.

great experience

The one-day trekking tour to Sacred Mountain in Kyrgyz Ata National Nature Park was truly amazing. The hike was both scenic and peaceful, surrounded by stunning panoramic views. My guide shared fascinating local stories about the mountain, adding depth to the journey. We reached the maschit, where pilgrims pray and perform ritual exercises, which gave a unique cultural perspective. I chose not to continue to the summit due to some difficulty with the altitude, but resting in the praying house for an hour was rewarding. We also met three park employees there and captured some wonderful memory photos.

My one-day trip to the...

My one-day trip to the Sacred Mountain was an unforgettable experience. The climb to the pilgrims’ praying house was quite challenging, but after taking a short rest in the pilgrims’ rest house, we regained strength and continued upward. On the way to the summit, four horses suddenly appeared on our path, and I was honestly scared to pass. Thankfully, Marat, our guide, calmly helped us through. Reaching the summit felt like a victory—the panoramic view of Osh and the surrounding mountains was absolutely breathtaking. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Osh who loves nature and adventure.

Amazing

If you are in Osh, do not miss this opportunity it’s a day trip to the breathtaking mountains of Alta . Our local guide Marat speaks fluent English and 4 other languages . He was born here and most of his relatives live at villages near the base of the mountains. He is very friendly, polite, and once you meet him, you feel like you know him and you can ask him anything about the history of Osh and the mountains. He is flexible with schedule once you arrive. He gave us a unique close up experience of the nomad culture . Aside from that, the view from the mountains are amazing with horses, cattle, sheep, and Yak grazing beside you as you hike. A river runs beside you as you hike and we took advantage of it by taking a dip in cold refreshing water. Marat made our journey much more enjoyable with his knowledge and used our pace to stop and rest. We liked it so much that we decided to stay one night at a yurt there that happened to be available. I highly recommend this trip and I will give it 6 stars out of 5 if I could.
