Santos is known worldwide for its gigantic gardens that adorn the beaches, and holds the record for the largest seaside garden in the world. Gonzaga Beach is no different! With a very well-kept and clean boardwalk, the beachfront is a great place for a nice walk or run in the fresh air.
A privileged space for leisure and knowledge, the park is a pioneer in projects to preserve the sea and its inhabitants – it was the first Brazilian institution to carry out the rescue and recovery of marine animals. The Aquarium occupies an area of 3,000 m², 2,214 of which are open to visitors.

Tour operator cancelled 1.5 hours AFTER the confirmed start time for the tour. And, no alternative was offered. This is the 2nd time in 4 months that this has happened to me. I have zero co dispense in Viator’s ability to provide and deliver tours. Unacceptable. 36 hours later and I still have not received an apology, nor have they refunded the money that I pre-paid for this tour. I will NOT be doing business with Viator again.
It was an amazing experience our guide had great knowledge and was very friendly. He made us feel like home and we love it.
nice trip from Sao Paulo, not too far. Nice coastal city but too hot, taken to all known sites. Nice driver and informative.
Pedro was absolutely sensational! His great personality and knowledge of the city made our tour increable and something we will remember forever.
We were in contact with the number listed on the tour and when calling he never had time to talk. Then thinking this was a bus or private van tour, he shows up in his tiny car with another female who was Brazilian but was on the "tour". At this point my radar is up as it's my wife and I. Well...his tiny car didn't have AC ( as described in the tour) nor did we get bottled water. The tour mentioned that it was 10 hours and included 3 different beaches, well we only went to Santos and it wasn't 10 hours. He didn't really know much of the history, he basically took us to the beach and that's was it. He always seemed to be in a rush. For the money spent it was a horrible tour. Never AGAIN!!!. I could go on but I won't. Buyer's beware of this tour!!!
