If you select Group Tour, simply take the free shuttle bus from the pier to the Largo della Pace terminal, where we will meet you for pickup. We went as a family and had a pleasant time overall. The kids enjoyed parts of it, and the guide did a good job keeping things moving. The main downside was the crowds at some stops—it got a bit overwhelming. Not really the tour’s fault, but something to be aware of.
Traveling solo, this was a convenient way to see the main sights without stress. Everything is handled for you, which is nice. I did feel like some of the explanations could’ve gone a bit deeper, and more time at certain stops would’ve been great. Still, a solid experience.
I joined this while on a work trip with limited time. It’s well-organized and covers the main highlights efficiently. The pace is quite fast though, so don’t expect a relaxed experience. The guide was professional but not very engaging at times. Still, it served its purpose well.

The coordination between the guide and our group at Vatican was seamless; we didn't waste a single minute looking at a map or waiting for something else. It's highest level of service I've experienced in Europe.
One day tour of Rome and yes, it is quite a lot. A long day, a lot of walking, people everywhere, but still happy that we did it like this. No need to think of the places to visit or how to reach there, just went along. The guide was in charge of the pace, at times quick at times slow, depending on the location.
I have joined many “walking tours” in other cities, but this tour is very unique and, in my opinion, the best tour that I have attended. Gabriela was our guide and his knowledge about the history of Rome is exceptional. He is friendly, approachable and he is very passionate about sharing his knowledge and insights with us. End of December is normally a peak season for tourism, but he chose the area/route wisely and managed to take us to interesting spots without being distracted by chaos of big crowds.
The biggest stress reliever was the transfer. Our guide and driver, Alessio, met us right outside the port terminal on time. Glad we had a expert navigator who knew exactly how to maximize our time while avoiding the worst traffic bottlenecks. We never once worried about missing our ship's departure.
Disappointing the tour guys should have let us know that there was a concert going on that we could not go to the Square plus other events. Tour guide was very informative and friendly. Disappointed we should’ve been informant things that were happening in the Vatican.
