Itinerary
Immerse yourself in the city of truffles and Barolo and more! Visit Alba, this small village full of restaurants, taverns and taverns, bars and shops selling specific products, taste dishes based on truffles and precious Barolo.
Castello di Barolo, of ancient origins, the first body dates back to the 10th century, the castle has undergone several transformations over time. From a defense manor to a noble country residence, to a rigid college of religious: each destination has left some traces in the halls of the large building. What is most striking of the castle is its bulk, which dominates and almost crushes the town with its grandeur, a tangible image of the power of the lords of the places. On the upper floors there is the ethnographic-oenological museum of Barolo, an exhibition of ancient viticultural and oenological tools in use in the area, documenting the life and work of the winemakers in the Langhe; in other rooms, a collection of wine crystals and old photographs of the town. The Regional Enoteca is located in the cellars, where the Marquise Giulia baptized the first Barolo. Since 2010 it has housed the WiMu Wine Museum.
Visit to the Fontanafredda cellars of Serralunga D'Alba.
As an alternative to visiting the Fontanafredda cellars you can choose these cellars with a guided tour and tasting

It is a pure spectacle. Perfect bars, shops, restaurants. Good food and good wine! The only defect is rain and fog but they are useful for Nebbiolo.
The views we saw were stunning. The wine we tasted was divine. The food was amazing. We had a fabulous day!! Our driver took great care of us, and we appreciated that so much.
We saw all the main spots, and the personalized touch made the experience special. We skipped the usual group tour chaos and got to explore at our own pace.
This was the most upsetting experience I booked on our trip to Italy. It was essentially just a taxi with a driver that clearly didn’t like us right from the start. I have had better conversations with the taxi drivers in Milan than this driver. The mood was somber and silent. I booked this expecting that the driver would share some stories or history of the area while we were driving through and offer suggestions of places to visit in the cities. Nope. It was brutal, sad and suffocating silence. When we would ask a question he said it was not a tour. Back to silence. Okay then. I guess I paid a lot of money to just be miserable all day and learn nothing. I would recommend that anyone else just save their money and book and taxi or Uber. We went to the cities without much clue where to go and see. Again, I assumed the driver would tell us the best places to check out on the way so I didn’t research. That was a mistake. Don’t book on Sunday!! The winery with the tasting was closed on Sunday, which I wish I would have known beforehand or I would not have booked this day!! Some communication in the listing about this or by the driver before we get to the winery would have been nice so we would have known to grab snacks in the other cities. We didn’t get to taste any wines and the truffle museum didn’t have staff outside the coffee bar so no truffle tasting either. I would not recommend purchasing this experience unless your expectation is merely a fancy cab ride.
Dear Madam, I am truly sorry to hear you say things that do not correspond to reality and to realize that you did not fully understand the service you purchased. First of all, I would like to emphasize that the details of the day's itinerary were clearly explained to you at the time of departure. Upon our arrival in Alba, I provided you with precise indications on what to visit, such as the truffle museum, the ancient churches with their valuable works of art, and the local restaurants where you could taste the typical delicacies. However, you decided to return to the car after only 30 minutes without exploring the city. Next, I accompanied you to Barolo, where I suggested you visit the Wine Museum next to the castle. Again, after only 40 minutes, you returned to the car without having visited anything. I also proposed having lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view, but you refused. We then continued with a visit to the residence of the Italian Royal Family, the Savoy, where you bought some souvenirs. Finally, I took you to a regional company for wine and local specialty tastings, but you chose not to enter. I am very sorry for your nervous breakdown, and I understand that you may have had personal issues. However, I believe it is important that you fully understand the content and the terms of a tour before purchasing it. You mentioned taxis or Uber, but such a service would not have been able to cover 500 km for the price you paid, nor would it have offered the same level of comfort and quality as our car. You are the first people who, during a visit to Alba, showed no interest in drinking, eating, or exploring the hard-to-reach areas. Evidently, your interests did not match the proposed tour. It is crucial to read the tour descriptions carefully to avoid misunderstandings.
It was a memorable day we can never forget it. Andrea skillful driving inspired me so much he knows this region very well.
This was an overpriced trip, you don’t get the experience you are charged for. You just get a private car with a driver. The driver was good though. . The tickets to the museums were not included, neither was the wine tasting experience. This is not a guided tour. Look for other options.
Dear SHIRISH OJHA, we are very disappointed to hear that and because you don’t understand what you do. First of all you need to read the conditions on the tour first you buy! In the tour it’s not included any tickets!!!And we don’t pay for lunch or wine of the guests !!! It’s up to any person what they want to do! Secondly you booked one tour with pick up at Malpensa Airport what it more to 100 kilometers from our pick up area and even that we offer you for free, not charge any extra! And you do more to 12h tour with private car!! With out charge you nothing! Just to explain you better, this tour it’s dedicated at the people who stay in the big city like Milan and they wish to see something different who can’t afford without private car. And also the winery what you can’t do this experience if you don’t are with us. I suggest you to read the conditions when you choose your journey in the future and buy a hotel in the big city not far 100 km.
Andrea play's important role to make this tour successful, thank you for your attentive service. Everything in this tour was well planned everyone felt comfort throughout the journey. I particularly enjoyed the truffle tasting, which was unique and unforgettable.
Our tour was truly fantastic! Our honeymoon trip to Lake Garda was made possible by this wonderful method! I would highly recommend Roberto to anyone looking to spend some time on the lake while visiting; he is incredibly kind and intelligent. Thank you so much.
Excellent planning, flawless execution, and the ideal family outing. Cesar was professional, informed, and patient. Strongly advised!
This trip from Milan was nothing short of spectacular. Daniele, our driver, was excellent! Daniele was friendly, polite, professional, and well-versed in the area. He made sure we arrived early at noteworthy locations and enjoyed a leisurely morning tour of Lake Como. Additionally, Daniele got us the nicest lunch reservation at a lakefront restaurant. This excursion is highly recommended.
