We did the tour and mangrove boat trip package. We didn't ever get told what would happen for the whole day by anyone, we were just passed on like luggage. Everyone was pleasant enough but not particularly insightful. The Sanur harbour experience was unpleasant and chaotic, and the boat hot and stuffy - because of the hight, the kids (8-12) couldn't see out which didn't help. On arrival we waded through the surf which was fun. The tour of the island was ok, private which was nice but little explanation of what we were going to see or why or how long we could spend. We felt like we couldn't make good use of the time as a result. All of it was nice enough and we would have been over the moon finding it ourselves, but nothing blow you away. Lunch was simple but nice enough and catered for fussy children and a vegetarian well. We were rushed back to it so our guide could do another tour but then had more time waiting. The mangrove boat trip was a bit sad. A bunch of kayakers ahead of us created a traffic jam and spoiled the peace, and looked like they were having way more fun. Do that instead! It was ok, and I wouldn't say don't do it to anyone. It was just a lot of money for a mediocre experience.
