Had a great day trip from Kigali to see the Golden Monkeys in Volcanos National Park. Desiree was the best driver and guide we could have asked for. She went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and also made sure we were very well prepared for the trek. We had everything we needed, even to deal with torrential rain and a lot of mud. After the trek, our shoes and waterproofs even got cleaned for us before we headed back to Kigali. The experience of seeing the monkeys was incredible - you get so close to them and have plenty of time to watch them, and get a lot of great photos. Very different experience to the gorilla trekking and definitely worth doing it if you have time. I would also recommend it as a day trip from. Kigali if you have time and aren't doing the gorillas - the drive is only a couple of hours through the beautiful countryside of Rwanda. To top off an already amazing day, Desiree also gave us a mini tour of Kigali on our return and even took us to a couple of spots that we had on our list. Would love to come back and do more tours / activities with Go Tours and of course Desiree.
