Itinerary
Overview -- For a thrilling journey through San Diego's rich past, don't miss Old Town and Heritage Park! This beautiful spot is home to handsome Victorian buildings that were saved from destruction, San Diego's oldest house, Casa de Carillo, which serves as the clubhouse for the city's oldest golf course, the renowned Presidio Golf Course where Tiger Woods played in his youth, the grand Cosmopolitan Hotel, which was also a stagecoach stop for many prominent early San Diego families, San Diego's oldest two-story brick building, the celebrated Whaley House, a time capsule of San Diego's amazing history, and the historic El Campo Santo cemetery, the final resting place of many colorful early San Diegans. Come explore this incredible spot of San Diego's past today!
See the house, Hear the history even the Whaley's didn't want out.
Old Town San Diego's Cemetary, El Campo Santo, has a long history of macabre. Ghosts there are disturbed as their burial grounds have been disturbed many times. Yet, strange figures still appear to glow and float above the ground. See some of the spirit orbs customers have captured there in our imagery.
Heritage Park is a sacred place developed to preserve examples of San Diego's historic Victorian architecture. You'll visit a total of 7 locations. Our tour pays to gain you entrance to Heritage Park.

Knowledgeable about the area
Passing it on - appreciate it :)
Great experience! So much history; I was impressed the depth of knowledge. Funny and personable Guide made it more interesting. 2 hours flew by even at a slower paced walk.
Meet up location easy to find. Tour guide easy to understand and friendly. Gave us chances to ask questions.
Branwell provided a great overview of the history of Old Town & the people that developed the area. His pace & repeat of some info was helpful. The only disappointment (not his fault) is that the Victorian homes are not renovated so we weren’t able to enter any of them.
Absolutely recommend these tours if you are in San Diego. My fiancé and I know way too much about San Diego than our hometown. We had a blast with Branwell’s jokes and will remember “neckflix” for a while. Also, if you love to know more about something Branwell takes questions!
Ah that is super cool will send to Branwell - he will be delighted. :)
Our tour guide Bramwell was great--so knowledgeable about the local area and made the tour interesting. We were a little disappointed that he couldn't lead us through part of the Old Town due to local regulations on private tour operators. Despite that, there was plenty that we got to see of the Old Town San Diego and we really enjoyed the experience! Thanks, Bramwell!
Ah I am sorry bummer you went (Bramwell is quality obessesed G bless him). We can't control the old town laws but I am happy to know what made you not like the tour. It is super useful. I will see if there is a way that I can make sure others don't expect whatever part it was you were missing on my end. Will send to Bramwell as well. He will want to come up with a solution to make it 5 stars for the next people. Thanks so much for letting us know and the kind bits as well, gratitidue :)
Branwell was very knowledgeable. He gave us History with a touch of humor! That was very nice and unusual.
Great experience with very knowledgeable person! Very in depth tour. I highly recommend even for younger people. The guide was very thoughtful, attentive and not rushing at all!!! He loves doing that! He does with his heart
Well planned and great walking tour. Our host was informative and interesting. The walking was light
Thanks Ellen :)
This was very cool to go see! Part of the section we toured was under renovation still but it didn’t take away from the overall impression. We would do it again!
Thanks Jamie. They are upgrading the park hopefully done soon. :)
