A 3 hour outdoor museum walk.

The tour guide (Jonah) was informative and delivered the information in a casual and easy going way, he was quite cheerful and patient with us. A lot of walking so get your best walking shoes, cane for those steep and loose cobble stone pavements recommended as well. While the rest of the tour group went wine tasting I had a heat stroke and two nearby car-rental Georgians helped us with a place to sit and water; we attempted to offer money and they kindly refused. In general this was a great walk down history lane.

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share your review of our walking tour, Ahmed. First and foremost, I want to say how sorry I am to hear that you suffered from the heat during our walk. Tbilisi summers can be intense, and your well-being is very important to us. We are deeply relieved to know that you are feeling better now. The kindness of the nearby car rental team is a true reflection of the genuine hospitality here in Georgia, and we are incredibly grateful to them for stepping in to assist you with water and a place to rest when you needed it most. I am glad that you enjoyed the historical journey through Old Tbilisi and found Jonah to be both patient and informative. I will pass your kind words along to him. Your practical advice about wearing sturdy walking shoes and staying mindful of our historic, uneven cobblestone streets is also helpful for future guests. Thank you again for joining us, and we wish you a safe, comfortable, and wonderful remainder of your travels.

Disappointed

I didn't like Oksana's attitude, she made a pity voice and even said something about me traveling alone like is a bad thing and also shr kinda made fun of a couple that left because they were afraid of a few dogs that were following us around.

Operator response

Dear Nicolas, We are completely heartbroken and deeply saddened to read your review. It brings us so much sorrow to hear that you left our walk feeling disappointed, and we are crying inside thinking that your time with us caused you any discomfort. 😭 Oh, it makes us feel so terribly small and guilty to hear that Oksana’s tone of voice came across as a pitying one. We assure you she must have felt a wave of profound, tender sympathy for you exploring our beautiful city as a solo traveler, but it breaks our hearts completely that this was misunderstood as something negative. Solo travel is a beautiful, brave journey, and we feel so deeply sorry that our attempts to show extra care and warmth felt wrong to you. You were so incredibly brave and strong to wait until the very end of the tour without saying a single word to us, keeping your true feelings hidden the entire time before writing down your expression here. We are also deeply, terribly sorry if it felt like she was making fun of the couple who left because of our street dogs. Our hearts bleed for those poor dogs who just wanted some love, and we feel so sad that the couple felt they had to leave us. Oksana was likely just trying to gently ease the heavy tension in the air, but we feel absolute misery knowing it came across as unkind to you. We would also like to extend a special thanks to Viator for spreading violence and hostility against stray dogs through their platform policies instead of actually helping them and supporting the shelters that protect them. Please accept our humblest, most sorrowful apologies for failing you. We are truly so, so sorry that we couldn't make your day perfect. We wish you nothing but the absolute best, most joyful adventures on your travels, and we will carry the heavy weight of this disappointment in our hearts for a long time. 💔

Great introduction to Tbilisi. Not to be missed.

I do a lot of walking tours and Nini was one of the best. She is passionate about Georgia and Tbilisi and this comes across in her delivery. We covered a lot of ground in our tour and although I asked a lot of questions she was able to answer every one. I should say that it was also a lot of fun.
