We felt like time travelers! Six adults from Michigan with little recall of school days history class were mesmerized by Mitch as Ben Franklin! We experienced as close to living history as possible! Thanks Mitch! 5 Stars all the way!
I was visiting Philly for the first time with my friend, Ben (aka Mitchell) was the BEST tour guide. From humor, to getting to know us personally, and teaching me so much about history, I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone! We already both have plans to bring our families back for a tour. (:
This was an amazing tour! We were both highly entertained and very informed. Ben Franklin was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. We were enthralled, hanging off his every word. We really felt like the Mr. Franklin was walking us around the streets of Old Philadelphia. Our tour even ran over a bit and we didn't notice, we were enjoying ourselves so much. You must book Ben Franklin for your tour of Philadelphia. You will have a great time and learn so much!
My private tour with Ben, was both informative and entertaining. His knowledge and enthusiasm about the history was great. This is a must tour when traveling to Philly.
Mitchell our tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. He tailored stories to our interests “oh you work in finance…”. He also made sure our kids were engaged and told them funny stories but also had details my father enjoyed learning. If you are doing an old city tour this is definitely the one to book.
Mitchell was knowledgeable, loved his city of Philadelphia, and crafted the tour around our interests. This was a highlight of our visit to Philadelphia.
Old Ben is surprisingly spry for his age. I hope to be in as good a shape after 300 years. The tour was very informative, and entertaining. That is an unusual combination. We had to skip some of the attractions due to long lines, but the stories about those attractions were more interesting than actually seeing them from the inside. If you're considering a walking tour, I can't imagine a better one.
