You will be zig zagging up a large hill. The guided audio is much better. Interesting to see how it has changed in 20 years Confusing for Viator to issue vouchers rather than electronic tickets
Alcatraz was a very good trip well run and interesting
Pickup was easy. The man we picked up the tickets from was super friendly and knowledgeable. Great bang for your buck. Did the bay cruise 2 hours before Alcatraz. It was great! Alcatraz is absolutely incredible.
Easy to book, great communication, easy to get tickets, left right on time, great tour, loved the audio tour, lots of ferries leaving the leaving to go back, awesome experience.
Whilst the tour was ok, getting a text to go and collect a voucher two hours before, not so good. We found the “office” but it was a lock up attached to a garage and no one in sight. There was no contact number so had to use the one on the confirmation- that call cost me £21.00. They sent my son the QR code and we were able to do the trip. Also one of our party had to cancel a couple of days before. Viator said we could cancel up to 24hrs before the trip but the operator said no refunds. Not sure I would Viator again, better to go directly to the operator.
