My motivation was to offer activities for families, which was difficult to find for children. This inspired me to set up a fun & creative experience for the whole family (> 3 years) where they can enjoy creating mosaic artworks together in Gaudís mosaic technique."trencadís. You’ll learn how to use the tool, choose your base and colours and create your first mosaic art work.. You can choose between different objects, you can create a photo frame, boxes and animals. Enjoy this activity with your children; They will never forget who Gaudí was! This activity is for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Awards & references In 2016, I was accredited for excellence with a master craftsman diploma for outstanding merits in work and divulgation of the Art "Trencadïs", awarded by the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya. In 2019 collaboration of Casa Batlló in the frame of the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers project “The Restoration of Casa Batlló, from inside to beyond its walls

It was a lot of fun. It was my first experience of mosaic art, but they explained how to do it and how to design it carefully, and it was a fun memory that was typical of Spain. I highly recommend it.

Offered a choice of picture frames, gecko, fish or coaster to mosaic. The studio grouts your piece to pick up a few hours later. We arrived late for our class, but were allowed extra time to complete our projects, which was appreciated (recommend 2hours). It’s a fun way to connect with the city.

The Mosqic activity was memorable. I went with my wife and two kids (11 and 16). All of us thoroughly enjoyed the activity. It lasted two hours and went by very quickly. We spend 10 days in Barcelona and this was the best activity we did during our stay.

Was a great way to spend time as a fmaily making unique and memorable souvenirs - we booked 2 hours and it was just enough for our girls - they tailor what you make based on how much time you have - by far our favorite souvenirs from our Spain trip came from this!

Hopefully this is the correct company. We booked our mosaic class through Europe4Kids, and I believe it was here. The time was one of our favorites- we loved learning how to make mosaics and loved our take-home creations. Our own personal teacher was so kind and fabulous, but the other teacher there (perhaps boss) was somewhat curt and rushed us to finish. We really needed more time than the one hour booked, and I’d suggest 1.5 hours if possible, but it was wonderful!
We had such a fun time doing this and our mosaics actually came out really well! My husband and I are not artistic at all, and even he had a great time. Kids are 11 and 14 and both had a blast and were very happy with their pieces.

Thank you for a lovely experience. We chose the 2 hour course and were a group of 2 adults and 2 8 year olds. The activities were personalised and we were able to enjoy an experience personalised to age. We learnt lots about how to cut and place the tiles effectively. The course leaders were friendly and helpful and we were able to collect our finished items the same day. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time making mosaics on our last day in Barcelona. So great for the whole family - the kids loved it and we have wonderful souvenirs. Definitely a highlight of our trip and we are so glad we did this. It was so relaxing and the finished results are beautiful. Such a great way bring Gaudi to life!

We took our six-year-old daughter to Mosaiccos on a recent vacation to Barcelona and we all created our own mosaic. It was an incredible experience for all of us and we highly recommend it to any family or individual travelling to Barcelona!! It was such a fun, immersive experience that allowed us to learn, create, and have fun. The mosaics we made will be treasured keepsakes for many years to come.
