Itinerary

Pass by

Visit a lesser-known part of Nadzaladevi — once a major Soviet industrial zone of factories, workshops, and railway tracks. While traces of that past are still visible, the past and present overlap in a lived-in neighborhood, with residential streets, family yards, and everyday local life continuing between the old structures. It’s a fascinating mix of history and present-day Tbilisi in one district.

Excellent tour. The guide...

Excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgeable both about Georgian railways as well as Georgian history in general and answered all of my many questions. The tour saw a wide variety of trains (metro, passenger wagons, testing wagons, diesel and electric locomotives). It also covered a lot of the history of the people who lived near the railroad. It’s a walking tour, much of it unpaved, so be prepared to walk.

A tour no one else offers

Great tour for those wanting to wander a little off the beaten path and see another area of Tbilisi you probably won't be able to find and see on your own. Good fun and interesting history.
