Ocean Rafting: Whitehaven Beach, Snorkelling & Hill Inlet Lookout

Absolutely brilliant tour, I did the above tour on the Wipeout boat on 3 July 26 Our host/guide was Paige and she was so fun and knowledgeable, Super accomodating and showed a real care for her customers on board! Heath the driver was so much fun! Great team together, they really bounced off of each other and made the tour so much fun! Would suggest you take a spray jacket though as it got a little chilly being wet from snorkelling on the boat ride home!

What an absolutely unforgettable day with #oceanrafting! If you're looking for the ultimate Whitsundays experience, #flyraft is the way to do it. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, and every moment exceeded expectations. The snorkeling was simply breathtaking. The water was so crystal clear that it felt like swimming in an aquarium, surrounded by an incredible variety of colourful and fascinating fish. One of the highlights was seeing a magnificent 150-year-old giant clam up close; an experience I'll never forget. Whitehaven Beach was every bit as stunning as the photos, if not even more beautiful. The pristine white sand and turquoise water made it feel like paradise. A huge shout-out to our skipper, Ben, and deckhand, Cooper. They were genuinely next level. Friendly, personable, highly entertaining and incredibly professional, they made sure everyone felt comfortable and catered for, regardless of experience or confidence in the water. Lunch was delicious! I was especially impressed by Cooper. For someone so young, he was exceptionally knowledgeable, informative, personable and remarkably mature. He was a real credit to the team and helped make the day even more enjoyable. Thank you for such an amazing experience. I couldn't recommend #oceanrafting and #flyraft more highly. It was a lot of fun. The snorkeling depends a bit on the weather. Lunch was good, although we thought it a bit odd that no drinks were included in the price. We understand alcohol and soda, but at least complimentary water with lunch would have been nice.

We absolutely loved Ocean Rafting Southern Lights from the moment we were picked up. Paige was amazing and drove us from the caravan park to the marina, giving us clear instructions on what to do next. That was where we met Gary, who took us aside, explained the wetsuits, and helped size us up. Then, lo and behold, both Paige and Gary ended up being our deckies on the boat! That was also where we met Ben, our skipper. Gary and Paige made an effort to build rapport with my kids straight away, which my 12-year-old especially loved. The weather was not great that day, with lots of clouds and some rain, but they still made the experience so much fun. The boat is fast, and my kids were getting hit by the rain, which can sting a little. Paige kindly offered my daughter a jacket to help protect her, which was really thoughtful. Gary was very entertaining with his antics, Paige was lovely and funny, and Ben was a fantastic skipper. From walking to the inlet, to snorkelling, and everything in between, Gary, Ben, and Paige were amazing. I loved this company, and these three made the whole experience even more special. The experience was amazing, ticked off so much in the bucket list and was incredible! Admission was good for all the activities you got to do, the price included lunch fruit and snacks, + all the activities listed! The length was great, wouldn’t want to much longer, snorkelling went fast. The atmosphere was excellent, music pumping and vibes high! Really great if you have a good group of people with you! Crowd size is great, can be a bit squishy when moving around but that’s just me trying to find something wrong with the tour. We had Georgie and daisy as our guides and they were excellent made the whole thing really fun and easy going and got on great with everyone, kept calm and worked together really well!!

A great day! I particularly loved the lookout walk - such amazing views. I didn’t realise when I booked it that it was an ‘adventure cruise’ but loved the boat antics anyway. There were people on the tour from 4 to 74 and everyone had a great time. Was on the Joyride - skipper and first hand (sorry forgot their names) were awesome. Would highly recommend this trip to others

My friends and I had the privilege of joining Ocean Rafting for a snorkel and beach trip today, and we had the best day. The gorgeous beaches and stunning natural scenery were incredible, but what truly set the experience apart was the crew on board. We were on the boat _Free Bird_, led by Captain Ben and Mr. Corben. From the moment we were picked up, Corben was friendly and super helpful. When we met Ben, he was charismatic and insightful, sharing great tips for making the most of our day. Both of them went beyond just guiding the trip. They took time to speak with everyone on board individually, asking where we were from and getting to know us. The vibe on the boat was 10/10, and we wrapped up the day with onboard karaoke as we sailed back to Airlie from Whitehaven. My friends and I can’t imagine choosing another company for this tour. If you book with Ocean Rafting, request Corben and Ben - they’re awesome!

My husband & I had a wonderful trip with the Ocean Rafting crew of Thunderstruck (our boat for the trip) - Brent was our captain, along with Lil & Jess as our fabulous guides. The day began with us being picked up at our motel & taken to the marina where we got ourselves checked in & then fitted for life jackets & stinger suits. After everyone on our boat was checked in we then boarded our boat & off we went @ 10am. What a ride across the water it was... the crew is fantastic at entertaining & that began upon leaving the marina when we spun circles out in the water with ACDC's Thunderstruck playing! On board we were served drinks (alcohol if requested for a price) & snacks as we cruised across the water to our destination. The trip to the Islands took about 1.5 hours & after picking up another couple on an Island on our way, we arrived at the Hill Inlet area where we then were taken on a walk to a wonderful lookout over the beaches & the Inlet - so beautiful! Then back to the boat & off to Whitehaven Beach... OH My Gosh what a beach this is, absolutely stunning! We had lunch given to us before getting off the boat as preordered upon arranging our trip & then swam, walked the beach & enjoyed the scenery while relaxing in the oh so soft, white sand surrounding us. After about 1.5 hours we were then loaded onto the boat again & off we went to snorkel around a beautiful reef where we all got to enjoy the spectacular underwater life for about 1 hour. Then back into the boat & we then headed back to Airlie Beach. We arrived at back at the marina 4:00pm & that was that! We enjoyed every moment of this trip & would highly recommend it to everyone!

Brilliant day with Ocean rafting visiting Whitehaven beach, hill inlet and 2 snorkelling sites. We had adverse weather conditions as we headed out to see which made for an exhilarating ride. It was bumpy, wet and great fun! Ayla and Paige promoted a fun and positive vibe on board while also sharing their knowledge and ensuring safety at all times.
