Assateague Island is home to breathtaking scenery, a diverse range of wildlife, and, of course, the legendary wild ponies. On this guided boat tour, you’ll cruise along the coastline, taking in stunning views and learning fascinating facts about the island’s history, ecology, and wildlife. Please pay close attention to the departure point you select. Trips departing from our 307 Dorchester St location are 1 hr in length. Trips departing from our 118th street location are 2 hrs and 45 min in length due to the time it takes to travel from 118th street to Assateague Island.

Captain Patrick was awesome! Highly knowledgeable about the area and took us to the perfect spot to see the wild horses. We were able to get out of the boat and see horses up close, it was amazing!
2 hour boat ride, you can bring drinks alcoholic or non. May get a little wet. Captain Charlie is great and very informational on the area. If you get lucky might be able to see the ponies on assateque island like we did. Good ride for kids as well.

This was a wonderful experience for me and my husband. The captain of the boat was very knowledgeable about the history of the horses as well as the areas that he took us through. We are looking forward to returning to the Ocean City area to do other water sight seeing activities.

Karen was a great tour guide! We saw many birds and learned about the fascinating history of assateague island. Unfortunately, we did not see any ponies but it was not for lack of effort on Karen’s part.
