Visit various Whisky and Gin distilleries up North, an area rich with the presence of the ancient Picts . It combines scenic views and cultural immersion while you sit back, relax and enjoy a dram or two. This is a tour for both the novice and the connoisseur to enjoy. Each distillery has their own quirky attributes but they all use the finest ingredients and traditional processes to craft their distinctive flavour. Our tour includes 1 Distillery Tour Admission fee at any available distillery listed in our itinerary. We will then be visiting as many distilleries that we can within the tour duration. They all offer tastings which we leave up to your discretion to enjoy. You can alternatively choose to simply wander about their impressive stunning grounds. Booking a distillery tour on your own is highly discouraged as it will disrupt the itinerary. However, if you have booked one, please inform us beforehand so that we can find a way to work around it.

'Valley of Tranquillity' crafted from curiosity since 1843. Glenmorangie, a distinguished Highland distillery, is renowned for possessing the tallest stills in Scotland. Their impressive range includes the Original, 18-year-old, and 25-year-old bottlings, along with unique special cask bottlings, exquisite cask finishes, richly extra matured bottlings, and a variety of special edition releases.
Clynelish Distillery crafts a rich Highland Malt, enjoyed globally both on its own and as a key ingredient in Johnnie Walker whiskies. Located along the scenic North Coast 500 route, they produce a distinctive, waxy whisky with notes of tropical fruit and honey.
Known as the Capital of the Highlands - Inverness offers a fascinating blend of history and modernity. You'll discover ancient churches, streets, and homes, some dating back as far as 1593. As a vibrant tourist hub, the city boasts attractions like the historic Victorian Market alongside a modern shopping mall, appealing to both locals and visitors.
The Glen Ord Distillery holds the distinction of being the sole remaining single malt Scotch whisky distillery on the Black Isle. They produce a 12-year-old, 15-year-old, and an 18-year-old single malt known as The Singleton of Glen Ord. This particular expression is available exclusively for export to Southeast Asia.
Nestled in an area of stunning natural beauty, Tomatin Distillery boasts a rich whisky-making heritage that stretches back to the 1500s. It features a village-like compound, resident workers, and time-honored whisky-making traditions.
Balblair's commitment to crafting single malt dates back to 1790. They practise a patient, hands-on approach, ensuring their whisky develops its exceptional flavour and character over time.
Award winning Scottish Gin sourced directly from Loch Ness. Nestled against a stunning Highland backdrop, this distillery uniquely combines traditional methods with innovative flavours, offering an unforgettable experience.

- 1. Our Tours are Private. This tour requires a minimum of 2 people per booking, maximum 7.
- 2. A tour reminder alert will be sent to you a few days before your tour. It will be through any of the following: Viator message, Email, WhatsApp or iMessage from +44 7481 590163.
- 3. We offer pick-up and drop-off within Inverness or enroute.
- 4. Wear appropriate, comfortable clothing. Waterproof hiking shoes and jackets are highly recommended. Carry-ons/Backpacks are welcome but luggage space is limited.
- 5. You can bring lunch or snacks in case we miss restaurants/cafes lunchtime schedule.
- 6. Minors, Seniors and People with Special Needs must always be accompanied by their respective guardians.
- 7. We kindly ask that all participants observe mindful public awareness, respect the environment, wildlife and guidelines. Please be conscious about carbon footprint during the tour.
- 8. For everyone's safety, comfort and well-being, we cannot accommodate the following: i. Children under 5 years old ii. Wheelchair/mobility assistance iii. Anyone with high risk health conditions (i.e expecting a baby, feeling unwell or exhibiting contagious symptoms like cough, sneezing, colds or runny nose). Please do not attempt to join our tour if any one in your group is unwell, recovering or still infectious - your group will be refused service without a refund. We can alternatively offer you another date within the tour season (depending on availability) iv. Any untoward behaviour in general that presents a danger to themselves or others will not be tolerated.
- 9. We will not to be held liable for any accidents, personal injury, damage or loss of property, missed travel schedules or any appointments thereafter.
- 10. Photos and videos taken during our tours may be used for promotional purposes.
- If you have any medical condition, don't forget to bring your prescribed medication or take them before your tour starts. Bring a bug spray if you are prone to insect bites during summer time, meds for motion sickness, etc. Your health, comfort and well-being will ultimately be up to you.

FANTASTIC tour with John as our guide. He was quick to come up with alternative when original distilleries were closed - and my brother and I were SO HAPPY with the ones we went to! (I bought three bottles for the day!). John gave us history of the area, along with local lore that you can't get from any book. Lunch recommendation was also FANTASTIC! Teri was also great in helping me plan this tour as part of my brother's and my "trip of a lifetime". Thank you both for providing such a great service.

This was our second tour with Aye Tours, and it was just as wonderful as the first! We had such a great time exploring the beautiful Scottish countryside while sampling a fantastic variety of whiskies. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the whisky itself, but also about Scottish history and the clans, which made the whole experience even more engaging. It’s the perfect tour for both whisky newbies and those who have been enjoying it for years. A perfect mix of scenery, storytelling, and tastings. Highly recommend!
