Join this northern lights chase to maximize your chances of seeing the world’s most spectacular light show. On board the bus there will be one professional driver and one experienced Northern Lights guide. They are passionately committed to choosing the best spot based on the weather forecast, that maximizes the options of seeing the aurora. The guide will provide you with information about camera settings and helpful tips, so when the lights appear you can capture the perfect Northern Lights picture. The guide will also take pictures during the excursion so you can have a souvenir to bring home. It is important to mention that the northern lights are a natural phenomenon and it can't be guaranteed that they will be seen. The meeting place for the English, German and Spanish tours is inside the building Prostneset (at the main entrance downstairs and close to the bus terminal).

- If you are travelling with children, please provide the age of the children so we can try to provide the correct child seat in the bus. The driver can refuse you to go onboard if you have not informed about it.
- Arctic Guide Service has full copyrights of any photo taken by the guide during the tour.
- Photos of the night will be uploaded in a third party web platform. If you do not want any photo of you to be published nor taken, please inform the guide, and do not stand in front of the guide when is taking photos.
- It can be slippery on the places where we stop during the night.
- If the group size is smaller than 15 people, the tour may be carried in a minibus without toilet onboard
- You are supposed to have your own Travel Insurance, to cover any incident should occur during the tour.
- At the beginning and at the end of the season the departure time will be different. Check the voucher to know the exact meeting time. This is due to the increase in the number of hours of the daylight
- No refund will be applied in case the Northern Lights are not visible as it is a natural phenomena.
- The activity is not recommended for children under 3 years old.
- Not recommended for people with reduced mobility

It snowed heavily today. We drove the whole time and returned to Tromsø after 5 hours without seeing the Auroras. Too bad. We heard from other groups that they went deep into Finland and experienced the beautiful dance of the Auroras.

Over the past days we have had reports of very successful tours with beautiful aurora displays, but if your review refers to an earlier date, we would like to clarify a few general points about how we operate: • We always do our best within the conditions we have. Our tours follow a set schedule, as many guests rely on returning to Tromsø at the stated time due to other plans and logistics. This means we cannot always drive unlimited distances, especially if we have already tried alternative locations earlier in the evening. • Northern Lights chasing is exactly that — a chase. Sometimes the weather plays tricks on us, and our predictions do not match the actual conditions. On those nights, another operator may take a different gamble and get lucky. This is part of the nature of aurora hunting. • Safety is our highest priority. We operate large buses and are responsible for both our guests and everyone else on the road. If driving conditions include ice, strong winds, heavy snowfall or poor visibility, we are obligated to avoid those areas. This season we have unfortunately seen several operators take risks that have resulted in dangerous situations and accidents. We will never compromise on safety. We truly appreciate all feedback, and we always want to improve. Gabriele, Jonathan and our bus driver Christoper were a great team that guided us to a spectacular night of Northern Lights, despite a forecast of clouds. We appreciated the excellent commentary. It was the first of more than a half dozen tours we’ve taken here, in Yellowknife, Canada and in Alaska where the guide explained camera settings. Gabriele also told us charming stories about how earlier peoples interpreted the lights, including as an activity related to Arctic foxes. She took excellent photos and served delicious hot chocolate that was not the usual watery Swiss Miss. The bus was comfortable and had a small restroom, which we greatly appreciated. We assumed a bus trip would not be as good as a small group tour in a van, but it was.

Excellent Tour in Spanish, Marina the Guide took great photos and took us to a place where the auroras were beautiful. We were lucky with the weather as it was cloudy and raining at first.

Gabriela and Jonathan were great tour guide who shared a lot of fun facts. The journey started on a super cloudy night, but they chose a great spot to settle down. Later in the evening, the skies cleared and we were able to see some great northern lights. Thanks for Christopher as well, great bus driver; we felt very safe.
It was an amazing experience!!! The weather was very bad when the tour started (it bad rainy a lot), but our guide and driver did a very good job to find a place where it was clear and the aftermath was beautiful!!! We saw amazing northern lights! The guide was also well prepared, he knew everything about northern lights: the physics behind, how to chase it, were to see it and how to photograph it! Also he took amazing pictures of us with the northern lights. At the end there is also hot chocolate and cookies! 10/10 experience!!! Thank you for the amazing tour.

The number of people was small and basically comfortable. I guess it's because of the date, but it's better to have fewer people than to get around in a big bus. Also, the long travel time is no help, but I was very happy because I was able to visit a couple of places.
